Good but not waterproof

Virtually no water resistance
Bought these for those days when I don’t want to carry over trousers as well. In the ‘Waterproof Trousers’ section in the store but 100% not even water resistant. Soaked through within 15 minutes.

Waterproof and a good fit
Contrary to the first review, these trousers ARE waterproof.
When I got them I ran them under the tap and the inside remained perfectly dry.
Worn 3 times in the rain and I haven't got wet once.

NOT even close to waterproof
Labelled in-store as waterproof (they have a label on them saying it), they soaked through in the first normal dog walk in the rain. Very disappointing.

Lovely comfortable trousers, will buy again, but not waterproof, showerproof yes.
I shall try some Nikwax wash on them to see if waterproofing can be improved
