COLLECTING MY ORDER

[Paid items are those that have been paid for either online or instore]

Please find below Click & Collect ‘paid’ frequently answered questions for those customers that have already paid for their item(s) when ordering online.

How will I know when my Click & collect order is ready?
We’ll send you an email when your order is ready, confirming your chosen GO Outdoors store. If you’ve given us your mobile number, we’ll also send you a text when your order is ready for collection.

What do I need to bring to collect my order?
There are a few things we’ll need to see when you visit our store to collect your order. So, please don’t forget to either:
• Bring a copy of this email, or
• Your mobile phone to show us a text message to prove the order is yours

Can someone collect on my behalf?
If you’re too busy, or simply enjoying yourself in the great outdoors, we’re more than happy for someone else to collect your order. But to prevent fraud, all we ask is that the person you’ve nominated must present your email or text message and their photo ID (passport or photo driving licence).

How long will you hold my order?
We’ll hold on to your order in store for 7 days. After which we’ll be in touch to offer you an extension to your original deadline. If the order is still not picked up we’ll return the order to the warehouse and refund your account. Please note that this may take up to 14 days to process once the order has left the shop.

How do I extend my collection date?
Simply go to gooutdoors.co.uk/extendcollection to understand what other collection dates are available for your order. Don’t worry, we’ll email you a reminder should you forget.

Which shop will my order go to?
When you place your order, you’ll be able to select a shop that’s convenient to you. The name of your chosen shop will appear in your email confirmation / order confirmation.

What time shall I pick up my order?
Any time after 2pm. But it’s best to wait for our email or text confirmation before you set off. Please check the opening times of your chosen shop as they all differ. Find your nearest shop here.

Where do I pick my order up in store?
When you are at our store, don’t forget to spend some time browsing our great product ranges whilst on your way to the checkout. Every checkout will be able to help you with your order. When there, simply show your ID, pick up your order and get ready to enjoy your purchase in the great outdoors!

COLLECTING MY ORDER

[Unpaid items are those that have been reserved for instore collection and payment]

If you have chosen to order your item(s) online that is/are available in your chosen store to collect, this is classed as UNPAID. Therefore, you will pay for your item(s) upon collection in that chosen store.

How will I know when my Click & collect order is ready?
We’ll send you an email when your order is ready, confirming your chosen GO Outdoors store. If you’ve given us your mobile number, we’ll also send you a text when your order is ready for collection.

What do I need to bring to collect my order?
There are a few things we’ll need to see when you visit our store to collect your order. So, please don’t forget to either:
• Bring a copy of this email, or
• Your mobile phone to show us a text message to prove the order is yours

How do I extend my collection date?
When you placed your order you would have received a confirmation email detailing your order and also explaining how to extend your proposed collection date. Simply go to gooutdoors.co.uk/extendcollection to understand what other collection dates are available for your order. Don’t worry, we’ll email you a reminder should you forget.

Which shop will my order go to?

An hour after you have placed your order (within working hours), however it’s best to wait for our email or text confirmation that your order has been picked by the store before you set off. Please check the opening times of your chosen shop as they all differ. Find your nearest shop here.

When you are at our store, don’t forget to spend some time browsing our great product ranges whilst on your way to the checkout. Every checkout will be able to help you with your order. When there, simply show your ID, pick up your order and get ready to enjoy your purchase in the great outdoors!

HELP

I’ve lost my order confirmation email or text message.

Occasionally confirmation emails can end up in your junk mail folder, within your email account, so please check here first.

Otherwise, if you were logged in or created a gooutdoors.co.uk account at the time of purchase, you’ll be able to find the order number in your order history. Simply log into your account, go to my orders and click on the relevant purchase to find the order number. Make a note of this and bring it to the shop when you collect.

If you weren’t logged in at time of purchase, we will still be able to release your order if collecting from a GO Outdoors store only. Bring your ID and quote your name and postcode at the checkout.

To keep your order safe, we don’t let anyone collect on your behalf unless they have your order number and their photo ID.


I HAVE PAID for my item(s), however I haven’t received an email or text message to confirm my order has arrived instore.

If you ordered before 8pm, usually your order will be available to collect the next day from 2pm; so please wait until after 2pm to contact us. However, please refer back to your order confirmation for your expected delivery date, as some items aren’t always available the next day for collection. If there’s any delay to your order, we’ll contact you to let you know.

If you still haven’t received a confirmation message after 2pm the day your collection was due, our Customer services team should be able to check the location of your parcel. Please call them on 0330 008 1555, Monday to Saturday 8.00am -10.00pm and Sunday 10.00am - 6.00pm.

If you placed your order after 8pm, it will be delivered the day after next.

I HAVEN’T PAID for my item(s), but still haven’t received an email or text message to confirm my order has arrived in store.

If you ordered before 8pm, usually your order will be available to collect at your chosen store an hour after placing your order. However, it’s best to wait for our email or text confirmation that your order has been picked by the store before you set off.

If you still haven’t received a confirmation messageby 12.00pm the following day, please contact your chosen store using the information found on your order confirmation and they should be able to check the location of your item(s).

If you placed your order after 8pm, it will be prepared the next day.

I was unable to collect my ‘paid for’ Click & Collect order. When will I be refunded?

We’ll hold your order in store for 7 days, after which we will offer you an extension to the deadline after which we’ll return it to our warehouse and refund your account. Please note that this refund may take 14 days to process once we receive the order back in the warehouse.

I would like to return my Click & Collect order.
