The Fix your Bike Voucher Scheme has been set up by the Government to encourage more people to embrace cycling, boost the number of commuting and leisure trips and reduce the number of short journeys made by private cars.
The Fix your Bike Voucher Scheme allows members of the public to receive a voucher worth up to £50 towards the cost of repairing a bicycle.
How The Scheme Works
Step 1 – Get your Free £50 Voucher
Apply for a Free £50 voucher to get your unused bikes roadworthy again, you can apply here. Vouchers available on a first come first served basis, they will be released in batches at the government's discretion.
Step 2 – Contact your local GO Outdoors store*
Give your local GO Outdoors store a call to check workshop availability, then book your bike in for inspection and arrange to time to drop it off. Stores in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are not participating, and only selected stores in England are able to take part.
The following stores are NOT able to accept Fix your Bike Vouchers: CARDIFF, BELFAST, CLYDEBANK, COATBRIDGE, EDINBURGH, INVERNESS, SWANSEA, BASILDON, CAMBRIDGE, CANTERBURY, CHATHAM, CHESTER, COLCHESTER, HULL, PENRITH, SOUTHAMPTON, WIGAN, NOTTINGHAM, OXFORD, SOUTHPORT and HATHERSAGE.
Step 3 – Drop off the bike
Bring your bike to store; we will inspect it and provide a quote for getting the bike roadworthy, the store will agree timescale for completion and collection, parts may need to be ordered.
Step 4 – Collection and Redemption
Once repair is complete, we will let you know the bike is ready for collection, when returning to collect your bikes please bring your voucher and relevant forms of identification for us to validate and redeem the voucher.

If you have purchased accessories from us we will fit them to your bike free of charge, if we didn't have what you were looking for we will happily help you out, our labour cost for fitting starts at £5.

Fix your Bike Voucher Scheme Terms.
All bikes must be cleaned before being brought for service or repair.
Up to 2 vouchers redeemable per household. One voucher per bike.
Currently the scheme excludes Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and some of our stores in England are also exempt (see above for list of excluded stores) .
You will be required to bring personal identification including your address, accepted forms of ID include:
Valid driving licence photo card with address OR passport; national identity card (non-UK); residence permit.
AND one of the following documents in hard copy or electronic form, (provided that the document is less than 3 months old): utility bill, council tax bill, mortgage statement, council/housing association rent card, benefit book.
Vouchers must be valid at the point of redemption.
The bike owner must be 18 or over.
Repairs must be necessary to make the bike roadworthy and fit for purpose.
Any cost over £50 is to be paid by the custom.
