- Q Someone stole my wallet/bag can I get a new card number?
A You can get a replacement card in any of our stores, or contact us here with your details to confirm your

- Q Why isn't the expiry date displayed on the card?
A This allows you to keep the same card without the need to replace it. You can check
your card expiry using the form on this page.
- Q Please remove me from the postal mailing list
A Contact us here with your
card number, name and address and we'll get you removed from the mailshots.
- Q How long is the card valid for?
A Your Membership will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, or the date of
last renewal.
- Q Why do I need to be a Member to shop with you?
A Membership entitles you to purchase our products at the best prices, give you access
to the Price Match Plus so you'll always be able to get the cheapest price, and also you'll have the
chance to be the first to shop new product ranges and take advantage of exclusive offers including
early SALE previews.
Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") set out the basis on which you can use your Go Outdoors
Membership (the "Membership"). Please read them carefully as they contain important information. By
signing up to Membership you are confirming that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
These Terms will always be readily available on the Go Outdoors website but Members are also welcome to
keep a print out of the below terms for their own reference. These Terms are in respect of your use of
the Membership only. The terms and conditions in respect of our supply of products to you are contained
here.
- 1. GENERAL
- 1.1 These Terms apply to the Membership provided to you by Go Outdoors Retail Limited and
govern the relationship between Go Outdoors Retail Limited ("we" or "us") and members of the
Membership scheme ("you" or "your") run by Go Outdoors Retail Limited in respect of the
Membership.
- 1.2 The promoter of the Membership is Go Outdoors Retail Limited, Edinburgh House,
Hollinsbrook Way, Pilsworth, Bury, Lancashire, BL9 8RR company number 12659342, VAT
registration number GB787440102 and, for the purposes of these Terms, Go Outdoors Retail
Limited and all corporate members associated with it (JD Sports Fashion Plc) will be
referred to together as "Go Outdoors".
- 1.3 It is within the discretion of Go Outdoors that certain products may be excluded from
the Membership scheme. In such circumstance, details of such excluded products will be
available on our website www.gooutdoors.co.uk ("the Website").
- 1.4 By using the Membership you indicate that you accept these Terms and that you agree to
be bound by them. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, you may not use your
Membership. If there is anything you do not understand, please refer to our FAQ's, or
contact our Customer Care team here
- 1.5 Go Outdoors reserve the right to change these Terms from time to time. Any such changes
will take effect when posted on www.gooutdoors.co.uk and your continued use of the
Membership shall constitute your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms.
- 1.6 The construction, validity and performance of these Terms are governed by English law
and you can bring legal proceedings in connection with these Terms exclusively in the
English courts.
- 2. GO OUTDOORS MEMBERSHIP
- 2.1 Membership can be purchased at any of the Go Outdoors stores or via the Go Outdoors
website.
- 2.2 When you purchase your Membership, you will get access to the Member's price as well as
exclusive offers and special promotions. Some offers will only be promoted to customers who
have opted in for email and / or postal marketing communications from Go Outdoors. Some
Membership offers cannot to be used in conjunction with certain Price Match Plus, Sale,
clearance, Wow Deals, multibuys or other offers and cannot be redeemed against purchasing
gift cards or gas hire charges ("Excluded Purchases"). Where the Membership cannot be used
in conjunction with Excluded Purchases this will be stated on our website or in store, as
applicable.
- 2.3. In order to purchase a Membership, you must provide your name and contact details. See
clause 5 for details of how this information will be used.
- 2.4 If you need to change any of the details you have registered with your Membership,
please contact us here. Please
note that it is the account holder’s responsibility to notify us of any changes to your
details.
- 2.5 A Membership can only be registered in the name of an individual who is over the age of
18 at the time of registration. If the individual is not a UK resident, then a valid email
address must be provided.
- 2.6 Only one Membership can be registered per individual. Individuals residing in the same
address can use the same Membership with the Member's authorisation.
- 2.7 A Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase or time of its
registration, whichever is sooner. When your Membership has expired or is due to expire, you
can renew it in any of our stores.
- 2.8 To obtain your discount when purchasing online you must enter a valid Membership number
as shown on the back of your Membership Card (the barcode). To obtain your discount on
purchases in store, you should present your Membership Card or Membership number at the
point of purchase. If you do not have your Membership Card or Membership number, you must
provide full details of the card holder. If you do not present the physical Membership Card
or Membership number and/or correct card holder details before you make payment, you will
have to either pay the full marked retail price or not proceed with the transaction.
- 2.9 Once purchased in accordance with clause 2.1 - 2.8, a Membership:
- 2.9.1 is non-refundable, cannot be used as a credit card, debit card or a cheque
guarantee card;
- 2.9.2 cannot be resold, transferred, exchanged for cash or traded by you;
- 2.9.3 cannot be used in conjunction with staff discount, affiliate or organisational
discounts.
- 2.10 If you purchase your Membership online or via telephone, you have the right to
cancel it without giving any reason within 14 days of the date you signed up to the
Membership (“Cancellation Period”). You will be responsible for the cost of
returning the Membership Card to us, if we request it. However, you should note that
you will lose this cancellation right if you use the Membership at any time during
the Cancellation Period.
- 2.11 To cancel your Membership under paragraph 2.10, please contact our Customer
Care team here with a
clear statement of cancellation. Once confirmed, we will refund you within 30 days,
using the same payment method you used to pay for the Membership.
- 3. LOSS, THEFT OR DAMAGE
- 3.1 You should immediately report any loss, theft, fraudulent or unauthorised use of your
Membership by contacting our Customer Care team here.
- 3.2 In the event of loss, theft, fraud or other unauthorised use of your Membership, or if
your Membership Card is damaged or malfunctions, we may, at our sole discretion, replace
your Membership Card. We cannot be liable for the misuse, loss or damage of your Membership.
- 3.3 When it is authorised, we will advise how to get a replacement Membership Card.
- 3.4 We reserve the right to charge a fee of 5GBP for each replacement Membership Card.
- 3.5 If you subsequently find or retrieve a Membership Card which you had previously reported
lost or stolen, you must notify Customer Services immediately in accordance with clause 1.4
above.
- 4. COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
- 4.1 We aim to deal with all complaints as effectively and fairly as possible. If you wish to
make a complaint regarding any element of the Membership Scheme please contact us either:

- 4.1.3 by post, please write to us with your complaint to: GO Outdoors Customer Services,

- 5. DATA PROTECTION
- 5.1 When you have purchased a Membership, we will send you marketing communications where
you have not told us that you wish to unsubscribe from marketing and where you have
purchased similar products and/ or services from the same brand or legal entity (as set out
in the Privacy Policy). We rely on our legitimate interests to do
this, and you have the right to object to processing of this nature at any time by
contacting our data protection team using the details at the start of our privacy policy page.
- 6. VARIATION AND CANCELLATION
- 6.1 If at any time you wish to cancel your Membership you may do so by returning your
Membership Card to our Customer Card Services Department by using one of the options in
clause 4 above. If you cancel your Membership (other than during the Cancellation Period in
accordance with paragraph 2.10) you will not receive a refund.
- 6.2 We reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to:
- 6.2.1 amend or waive any provision of these Terms from time to time; and/or
- 6.2.2 terminate the Membership Scheme; and/or
- 6.2.3 decline to issue Membership Cards; and/or
- 6.2.4 on reasonable grounds, withdraw or cancel Membership, where reasonable grounds
shall include (but not be limited to):
- 6.2.4.1 any abuse or attempted abuse of the scheme; and/or
- 6.2.4.2 any use or attempted use of a Membership in a manner which is
contrary to these Terms; and/or
- 6.2.4.3 any reasonable suspicion of dishonesty we may have on your part in
connection with the Membership Scheme.
