Key features
The lifetime LED produces up to 200 lumens of effective, efficient light to brighten up your basecamp in the evenings, or shine some light inside your tent if you are winding down with a board game.
The lantern has a number of defence tactics - one against splashing water from all angles as it is IPX Certified and two, the battery guard technology that stops the battery from running down too quickly. On a normal battery operated lantern, there is typically some residual drain as long as the batteries are connected to the circuit, even when the light is off. When this handy little light source is turned off, the batteries are completely disengaged so the lamp retains its brightness twice as long and the batteries last 25 percent longer.
The lantern is a good companion for indoor and outdoor activities, use in the workshop, garage, caravan, boat, car, garden, fishing, camping, hiking, hunting, household, repair work, emergency or power failure. The lightweight lantern can be operated with standard batteries.

Smaller than I thought (really should check measurements in descriptions!) but it gives off good spread of light. Good enough to read by without the glare you get from an led torch. Takes 4 x AA batteries so easy to get replacements/rechargeables to fit it.
