Lots of expensive batteries required
This take 3 large D size batteries and with a short battery life, you will spend a lot of money in addition to the cost of the light.
It has three settings, flash, low and high.

500 Lumens and only 3-5 hours run time!
Website says 14-25 hours run time which was the reason I bought this. The box that the lantern came in says 3-5 hours! It is 500 lumens on the box, not 450 lumens! (3x Size D Batteries required)

For some unknown reason, there is an infuriatingly annoying flashing green LED on this lamp that serves absolutely no purpose other than to provide the buyer with the job of finding a way to cover it!
