Handle broke
Only it once and the section next to the net crumpled when landing a carp of less than 2lbs. Looks the part but simply not strong enough

Poor quality
My handle lasted three trips and i was just packing away a hadle and it crumpled. Really poor quality I would advise spending more on a quality handle.

Used it to land a 10lb carp and it snapped first time I used it ended my day out fishing...

Snapped before I caught a fish
Had net ready to use, dipped it in water and as I withdrew it out, it snapped, at the part where the two sections lock together. Thankfully I was with friends so was able to share nets with them

Completely useless landing net handle. 1 star as 0 not on.
I recently purchased a 2.2m Westlake landing net handle. 1st outing I caught a carp of around 1.5 - 2lb. Net handle snapped in 1/2 as I tried to ship the net in. Only good for fish too small to net!

Used 2 or 3 times, but could not cope with an 8lb fish and the thread section simply parted from the fibreglass. It's cheap to buy, but be warned, you'll be looking for another very soon!
