Hi Gear BBQ Charcoal starter
Easy to use. sturdy and safe to handle when charcoal is hot. Rapidly ensured that the coals were just right for the BBQ. I used less charcoal because it all got to the right temperature, so no wastage.

Perfect portable firestarter
Load the chimney with lumpwood or briquettes, place newspaper or firelighter underneath, light and leave for 15 minutes, it's that easy! Empty the hot coals onto your barbeque and within a few minutes you're ready to cook. I own the large Weber version, which iis ideal for a family barbeque but not so easy to pack in the boot along with all of the other home comfort's whilst camping. The handle will detach easily iif you're really pushed for space. On a Wow deal, this is exceptionally good VFM.

Starting the bbq without starter blocks/ starter fluid isn't always easy.
At £6 I figured it was worth trying, and I wasn't disappointed. Filled base with card, and soon after had nicely glowing coals
