After 2 hrs, my feet ached. The sole does not offer absolutely any cushioning. You need to get a larger size to make room for an extra insole to cushion and support your foot. Socks won't do.

Brillant in terms of fit and grip.
Unfortunately, after an hour the feet balls and heals ache. They get too tight with extra insoles. Best get a bigger size to allow for extra insole for longer walks.

Super light, breathable and most importantly, very comfortable.
I would recommend as the price is great for what you get.

I bought these Berghaus walking boots and they have been perfect. My feet are always warm and dry even in severe snow and wet. I agree with other reviews - no breaking in needed. Highly recommend.

I bought a pair of these two years ago and they have been so comfortable as well as robust and rainproof. This new pair will be in the cupboard waiting for when I need them.

Very comfortable from the start, didn’t have to break them in.
I haven’t tried them out in wet conditions yet but looking forward to testing them out fully.

Excellent waterproof walking boots. They look nice and fit great. There was no initial “breaking in”, they were comfortable from the get go. Perfect for walking the dogs

ordered on-line to replace a pair that was returned to the shop (faulty) shop did not have my replacement size so they refunded my payment. My on-line order failed to arrive and I am now waiting for a second refund. I love the boots - so comfortable - pity first pair was faulty ! I would love to get my hands on a replacement pair.

Fantastic quality

Tried this boots on in the store was so pleased how comfortable they were. Light too. Took the dog out on a 6 mile ramble and was really disappointed. The sole offers very little protection, in that you feel every stone and bump. They also made my feet ache, unlike my other Berghaus boots. Really disappointed as I thought I'd found the holy grail - light, supportive and comfortable but sadly only one of three; light. Tried to exchange within 8 days at the Derby store but they wouldn't help.

First walking boots I ever bought as a walking beginner. We went out on wet day. My feet were dry even though my feet were sweating. Good grip, comfortable, wasn't slipping on wet, muddy stones and barely felt them under my feet. Just need to get pants getting over them as ended up with few small stones in my boots.
