Mirror is too large and fold back car mirror at 50mph
These mirrors create too much wind resistance and folded back the car mirror itself at 50mph.
They are too flat and need to be rounded off to the rear to create less drag.

Towing mirrors
Purchased these mirrors to replace ones of the same make purchases some time ago.
The rubber straps tend to become somewhat hard and less flexible over time.
New straps are available but new mirrors complete are not much more expensive hence
worth replacing complete.

Don’t believe everything you read
I bought this product to enable me to tow my boat. I had fitted one to the drivers side and proceed to fit the near side mirror when I heard a crack. The driver side mirror had plastic fitting that connects to the mirror snapped. I hadn’t been heavy handed. I took the mirror off the near side and drove down using my normal mirrors as I did not want the mirror breaking loose when I was driving and causing an accident.
I have put them back in their boxes and put them in my shed and that is where they will stay.

towing mirrors
I first bought the more expensive towing mirrors which didn't fit. I returned them to go outdoors who were very helpful and let me try different mirrors before buying them. I was unsure at first as they were 2 for only £10.00. I used them the following day and they remained in place the whole journey. There is a small amount of vibration but for the price paid, I am well impressed and recommend them over the more expensive ones.

Do the job
As a first time caravan owner I knew I needed a set of mirrors but didn't want to pay a lot of money. These mirrors were on offer and looked a great price. I have a Vauxhall insignia and they don't quite fit properly to the shape of the mirror, which I find then makes the mirror slightly unstable and when towing the mirror seems to vibrate and make the reflection slightly distorted. Other than that great value for money and if they fitted my car properly probably more than adequate for the job

Good value
Do the job and at the price are good value. Would recommend if, like me, you don't want to spend a lot. Easy to fit and remained secure but have only used them once.
