Designed for up to 7 people with plenty of room to spare, the Vango Casa Lux is very roomy with an enclosed porch area, extra-large living room and two super-king bedrooms.
It's easy to pitch, safe and sturdy, and gives you the maximum space inside - pre-angled poles give you greater inner space and brace against strong wind, and the front canopy gives you masses of room to spread out.
High and low ventilation panels let air flow comfortably through the tent, while the fully sewn-in groundsheet keeps bugs and draughts out (an external storm skirt gives all round protection).
The 'Super King' bedrooms will easily fit camp beds or airbeds, and use darkened 'Lights Out' fabric so you won't be disturbed by excessive dawn light. Toggled inner dividers let you create a partition.
Practical touches like cable tidies, storage pockets and mesh doors make for more comfort inside, and the expandable carry-bag makes transport and packing away simple.
And you can add some optional extras to make the Casa feel even more homely - the Casa carpet will give you plush underfoot comfort, and the Casa footprint makes pitching easier while protecting and insulating the groundsheet.
This is our 3rd year in this tent and it’s upheld assorts of weather, it’s very spacious which allows for own areas with older kids . Looking to add an awning to it for longer trips
Me and my family LOVE this tent.
Used 3 times, it’s easy to put up and pack away.
It so spacious for our large family, lounge space next to non. It withheld wind and rain on our 5 day break. FAB
Used about 8-10 times, inc.in wind&rain; been totally dry and stable.
Great space indoors for the family, love separate 'rooms'. Wish side door was meshed, but fixed with net curtain and velcro!
Love the style and size of this tent. But leaked along the seem in the main living area and through the side’s which run under the bedroom compartment. Go outdoors refunded.
Excellent family tent. loads of room, good quality welĺ made tent but it is only a 6 man tent unless you sleep in the living area.
Doesnt withstand a change in weather, had a windy night in Cornwall beginning of September, tent collapsed in night, Not worth all the money as you won't be refunded, as weather damage is in warrent
Only a couple of outings so far but heavy rain & moderate wind 1st time, stayed warm and dry.
Easy to erect & dismantle, love the separate kitchen, and porch for shoes and the water container!
Although this tent has loads of room which I love the tent itself is horrible the material to thin you can really feel the cold it leaks and is not stable in the wind even using the wind straps
Easy to put up, once you know what you are doing. Fabulous size bedrooms, enough to fit 2 x double airbeds and 2 x single airbeds. Living area is huge and perfect for rainy days.
After looking at all the tents we decided on the Casa for the space, on our first go it took us about 3/4hr to erect, however on our 2nd attempt it only took us 35mins, camt wait for our next trip
I love the tent Ben camping twice in it although it says space for 7-8 I strongly disagree there is 6 of us and that was more than enough people 5-6 maximum.
Love our Casa, great size, loads of living space and easy to put up, however my only complaint is that there is only one fly net on the main door and gets very hot, made my own to get through breeze
We bought the casa last year. On the first outing we had terrible weather with strong winds and rain. The tent leaked along the seams, and really suffered in the wind. Even the extra wind strap had no effect, the tent was unusable. We took it back to go outdoors and because it leaked they sent it back to vango for assessment. A couple of weeks later we got the ok from vango, and go outdoors refunded our money. They will only refund if the tent leaks, not if it’s unstable or if the poles snap. I don’t want to completely dismiss this tent because it seems great, it’s just that ours leaked. If you were assured of good weather, with no strong winds I would say go for it.
I’ve been meaning to review our tent since we bought it this summer. This is, hands down, the best tent we have ever owned. It is simply huge. We particularly loved having the enclosed room at the front (we used it for our chemical loo and storage). The bedroom is fab too, big enough for a double and two single air beds side by side with space between them so we weren’t falling over each other. First time putting it up took about 40 mins but got this down to 30 mins (at a leisurely rate) with practice. We’ve camped with this tent in rain, wind and shine and it’s stood up to whatever the weather has thrown at us.
Used this tent for our week long family holiday. Was very big and enough space for all our stuff without tripping over each other. Took about 20 mins to pitch and was very easy to do. We had all weather types (except snow)and the tent held up perfectly. Only problem we had was getting it dry before packing away, but with a little bit of thinking outside the box we managed it with bit of work.
Huge upgrade from our Icarus 500 5 man to the Casa 7 man.
Massive living space and the little extra room to the front was great for our picnic table and chairs for a dining area.
Definitely took us longer to put up first time than 20mins more like 45, but I eve you have the guy lines set first time I think it should take 30mins.
We found a tiny hole in the ground sheet on the first pitch but GoOutdoors just did a straight swap no questions asked.
This is the 5th Vango tent I have owned since I was a boy and don’t see me buying any other brand.
Great tent very spacious stood up to strong winds better than I thought did have a couple of small leaks when we had a weeks worth of rain in a couple of hours but that's camping for you
Would like to see the option of an extra toggled inner separator purely to give kids there own space
Took longer than 20 minutes to put up as instruction not brilliant nightmare to take down in windy conditions but
Looking forward to using it again
Ok so where do I start we brought this tent bank in July An we never used it until this bank holiday weekend. So after buying it we started to regret the decision after reading all the reviews, but I can truly say we have had no issues what’s so ever! We had wind an rain An the tent was outstanding no issues at all. Would recommend the tent the size is perfect for our family plenty of room for our 18month old to run around. Looking forward to our next trip away.
Prefect size for our growing family but had to return as the seams on one side had not been taped so leaked water in.
The tent was easy to put together. We ended up in storm Lilian with strong wind and rain. The tent held up well with no leakage.
