COLEMAN Basalt Double Sleeping Bag

Im 6ft2 and over 100kg, this sleeping bag fits me with tons of space to spare. I slept when the outside temp was -5 and still had the truck sunroof open and the heating off, amazing product!

Excellent double sleeping bag

Bought this from go outdoors over a year ago, we use it in the Motorhome so never tested in absolute temperatures, but when used was comfy and warm. Zip fiddly on corners but great quality all round.

We love this sleeping bag. The fabric feels nice. Plenty of room inside even for a tall person. Toasty and warm when others were freezing. The zipper is a little awkward, but otherwise brilliant.

I really like Coleman stuff but no oh no on this. Although it's warm and very comfy, it certainly isn't that warm as suggested ( I believe it says season 3 on the bag) and the zip lock system is pants. I had to buy bigger zip pullers and still it snags. If they spent more time on the 'less odour' and more on the 'zip snagging' as well as the misleading -3 degrees warmth comfort, we'd have a brilliant bag.

As a camping/equipment addict I'm probably an easy sales target! However, the Coleman Basalt double sleeping bag really did impress me. It was fantastically priced. The colour/design is obviously appealing for a lover of things blue, but the entire interior is lined with a beautiful blue check pattern. The fabric is of that finely woven synthetic variety that always feels warm to the touch, even in the coldest conditions. And, yes, it is a cosy, warm, bag able to cope with low temperatures. Sumptiously layered filling material means no cold spots I tested the bag at -3° and wasn't cold; an additional thin fleece blanket had me (and the dachshund) toasty warm. Odour/bacterial resistance: well after two nights with canine companion there was barely a hint of dog essence - I would say that it was an improvement (even if not the most rigorous scientific test). Congratulations to Coleman! My new favourite bag. I just hope that longevity is a feature too.

This is a superb purchase, warm soft and excellent finish. Used for camping and replaces a 10 tog quilt which this bag beats hands down in every department.

I got this while on sale and it was the best purchase I'd made. I use it in my tent on the double camp bed the padding is great and makes it nice soft to sleep on. The luxury of being away with the comforts from home.

As annual campers in British conditions we decided that we wanted a double sleeping bat instead of two singles.
With this we got lots more room and theboppthe oppo for abcuddle instead of being trapped in the cocoon version of a chastity belt.
This bag looks good, feels far more duvet like than your regular single bag. It was warm enough also, especially with double the bodybwarmth. You can move your legs too!
