OEX Traverse Self-Inflating Mat

Bought this when there was a sale thinking it would be ideal for my camping trips, sad to say it's not "self inflating" like it claims...few puffs and it's up though...ok for the sale price

Packs down to a nice size, isn’t the MOST comfortable mat, but it also isn’t uncomfortable. I like it.

Bought this to make a caravan bed more comfortable & it works a treat. I have a bad back & this mat has greatly improved the quality of my sleep. Very happy.

Good comfortable mat when it's got air in it but does not hold its air well and loses most of it within a about 30 of filling it up.

It's easy to inflate although extra puffs required. It takes up little space and is light. It is quite thin. Too thin for me although size and weight wise would be ideal if you had to travel light. One if my kids used it and reported back it was fine but I returned my other one which as hadn't opened.

I bought this to use at a music festival. I'm very pleased with the mat as it's small to carry and easy to set up. Although it's self inflating you can top it up by mouth. It gave a comfortable night's sleep and didn't need topping up even after 4 nights. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again if I needed to.

Compact and comfortable

Needed some extra blowing up to get the most out of it but it's more comfortable and packs down to half the length of my old roll mat. £15 is good as long as it lasts.

Used this in all temps from summer thru winter, chuck it in tent get a brew going while it inflates itself, chuck a bit wind in it to fill a bit more, bobs ya uncle comfy kip!! Packs small too

This mat is comfy to sleep on and doesn't deflate in the night! Only downside is it doesn't pack that small, bit heavy and bulky for backpackers but is a great buy if you're not short on space/weight.

One star reviews are from people that are new to these things, point one when valve is opened it can only inflate to outside air presser if you want more blow it, other reviewer tighten the valve.

Bought this item due to its small compact size when stowed away. But unfortunately when you come to use it it does not self inflate as stated. You have to blow it up as per a normal matteress.

I recently bought an oex. Traverse 3/4 length air mattress.. After just one use I noticed it didn't hold any air. Every time I used it. It went flat after a few minutes. Not happy with this item.

Comfy, and it folds up to half the size of my usual DD mat, so perfect for smaller backpacks or where you're trying to pack a little lighter.

First time camping and I was more than happy with this mat. It's very compact and easy to inflate and deflate. Easy to pack away as well.
