Great little thing
Yes, the other reviews are right - this pillow is so thin that on its own it would be useless. However my clothes in my backpack are in a dry sack so I use them as a pillow base, topped with a folded up micro-fibre towel and then this on top just to soften everything up - works really well in that scenario - and its so small I wont leave without it no matter how light I am trying to hike.

Not very good
I used 2 to increase comfort, however I had to resort to folding up a jacket as these cushions were pretty useless.
They folded up well, but that’s the only positive

Flannel pillow
Quite honestly one of the worst things I've ever bought but as it was less than £5 I didn't mind. Will invest a little more next time!

Freedom Trail Flannel Pillow
Handy little pillow to take with you. Doesn't take up much space and is very lightweight. Personally I use it along with the top of my sleeping bag as a pillow, as otherwise it would not be big enough by itself to offer good enough support for my head.
Overall though a good piece of kit you can always find room for.

Not sure of the purpose. But definitely not a pillow. Feels as thin as a folded handkerchief.
