Easy to pitch, with an integral frame and pre-attached hi-vis guy lines, the Freedom Trail Pitch and Go Pop-Up Tent will be up and ready to use in an instant.

Simply unpack it, throw it up and watch it spring out and pitch itself, leaving you with just the pegging out to finish the job - the perfect choice for festival goers who want to get down to the main stage in a hurry.

It'll comfortably house a single person with all their gear, but you can easily squeeze in 2 people as long as they don't mind sharing tight spaces.

Sadly, packing it back up isn't as quick but once you get the hang of it you'll be on your way in a matter of minutes, all ready for the home comforts of hot running water and a comfy bed.

Excellent value for money

Pops up in seconds. Can take down in 2 mins (once you get the hang of it). Yes, condensation can be a problem but what do you expect for the price? Stands up impressively well to rain & strong wind

Could not breathe

Severe lack of ventilation causing us to sleep with the door open just so we could breathe. Gathered condensation very quickly. Overall very poor.

Easy to put up does what it should ideal for a single person as a back-up tent fits easily back in its bag which surprised me.

Pop up and goes away easily. Did what I expected for the price. It exactly what I expected. If you want top quality you’ll have to pay 6 x more. If it quick easy and adequate then it’s perfect.

Don't buy

Honestly the worst tent I have ever bought. If you are above 5ft 8, stay away. The dimensions are absolute rubbish, and will not fit 2 sleeping bags! Taking it to get my money back.

Awful

Purchased 4 of these for staff on a D of E expedition. They’re awful. It was a warm night and there’s barely any ventilation, I had to open the door during the night, fortunately a dry night. Woke in the morning to find my colleagues had done the same. Tent dripping wet with condensation on the inside in the morning

Great value for money!!!

Brought this freedom trail tent as my home for the summer at an outdoor learning facility. At such a great price you don't expect luxury to pop out when you unravel this bargain for the first time, but I was pleasantly surprised!

"Pop up tent" was quite explanatory and does what it says on the tin or in this case the tent! It looks tiny when first up but once inside you have easily enough space for a double sleeping bag, and maybe a bag or two. It comes with a bag of pegs which are quite sturdy considering the price tag and overall is a great all rounder.

I would recommend leaving the tent zip open by half a centimetre to help with some expected condensation from a single layer tent but nothing to effect your sleep or comfort. There are also two storage pockets inside which come in handy!

Overall would buy again, great for fair conditions and once you get the knack for putting it away which you will after a few tries is a great buy and value for money!

i can't believe any shop would actually sell this as a camping tent. my kids slept in it 2 nights. 1st night soaking wet through in light rain. 2nd night we moved the tent under a motorhome awning and in the morning everything was still soaked. iPad was in there overnight and is now damaged. i would give it zero stars but that's not an option. For £25 you don't expect much but i wasn't expecting it to be this bad. Please remove from sale to avoid disappointing and potentially making people ill.

Bought as a play tent for granddaughter - excellent for her purpose. But perhaps not for taking on the fells!!

Not fit for purpose

Leaked so much I had to spend two nights sleeping in the car. The first night without sleeping bag as it needed to be dried out. Not impressed as I trained all year for an Iron distance triathlon to find out that I was sleeping in the car the night before and after the event. spoiled the event.

Poptastic!

I was looking at a kiddies tent for my daughter's birthday but realised that I could get this pop up tent at a great price - and it does so much more!

It literally puts itself up and once up is a comfy if cosy 2 man tent. It seems well made with taped seams etc, though I haven't put it to the test in weather yet.

The only downside is getting it back in to the bag. there is a definite knack - even the instructions say it's 'awkward', however I've managed to pack it OK so far and I think it gets easier with practice.

I've bought this as a play tent but would be happy to overnight in it on short breaks in benign conditions.

Let's I'm rain

I bought this yesterday. Camping in it today. Except I'm not, because I'm in my car using the blowers to try and dry my stuff because this tent let the rain in at the seams AND the zip. My sleeping bag is soaked pretty much putting an end to this trip. Very unhappy with the quality, or lack there of.

Perfect for Quick Camping
2_5 out of 5

I needed a pop up tent for when my friend and I take quick and spontaneous camping trips. The staff at Go Outdoors in Bramley were great. They showed me exactly what I wanted and didn't try to sell me something else. I was in and out within minutes and bought exactly what I went in for. Very quick and easy to set this tent up as well as put away. Very happy with the purchase.
