floating for carp

A good rod for the price. Probably ideal if you're throwing a piece of lead 50 yds and hoping for the best.
However I cant give it 5 stars for light float fishing, its heavy and in my opinion the handle is 6 or 7 inches too short and I found it uncomfortable.
The 10 foot version of this rod is a better buy and easily handles double figure carp. I have 2 loaded with 5 and 7 lb lines.

Have used this rod a few times now for different species. Fished at distance for Arctic char and it worked well thumbs up. Took it to France to fish in the river Aisne on holiday and had wild carp to 10lb, barbel to 9lb 11oz and bream and chub. All in a great rod for the £9 I spent on it on offer.

Excellent value

For the price this is a good rod, heavier enough for big fish but still sensitive enough for the small fish, tried to buy two but only one in stock (informed that there was two)

Seriously - a tenner!

Bought this for my son to use and was sickened by the results. In our own mini match last week he absolutely caned me! In about 5 hours He hauled 30ilb+ of Bream and Carp with this. I managed just under 18ilbs with my Maver that cost nearly 10 times this much!

Fish for a bargain

A glass rod with a softer action than carbon which helps to avoid bumping off the fish.

Handled big bream with ease.

The price is ridiculous, less than a tenner for a good quality, perfectly usable rod?

The store had only one left but I'm off to buy another as a spare the moment they get some more in.
