Not tried yet bought as a extra lock can't have too many on your bike these days.

Does the job for quickness

Bought 3 of these for our boys’ bikes to use at Centerparcs - each different colours. Wouldn’t rely on on them for overnight or risky areas, but outside a shop, in the park or other visible area, they are enough to discourage an opportunist from grabbing the bike and riding off with it - exactly what we needed, and a great price for this occasional, low risk use!

I feel like I have been robbed in numerous ways, first by purchasing such a flimsy lock x2 which is rated to be secure and with a lifetime guarantee. Second to be robbed of my prised bike during daylight hours in a safe and popular location whilst left unattended for an hour, secured by two of these products . Third to be robbed of the chance to raise sponsorship and awareness for Sue Ryder hospice which I was due to take part in various challenges including coast to coast and cycling up snowdon.

DO NOT CONSIDER PURCHASING THIS ITEM. Bike stolen first time in using this product if you want to protect anything more valuable than a cookie jar. Could be a good paper weight but that is all.

I've just bought my third Master Lock, so that must say something, that is for two to lock bikes up in the garage and one to carry with me if I have to leave a bike unattended. Little would stop a determined thief but these would stop any opportunist from taking your bike, I hope! The wire is long enough to easily locks up two bikes together and the locking and unlocking action is simple to apply.
