Feet wet and cracked on top
Swear by Salomon normally, bought this brand for years. So disappointed with this last pair, not waterproof and cracked on top on both shoes within 6mths. Will not be buying again.

save your money
not waterproof and will crack - me and my partner bought the same pair and BOTH pairs cracked on the front textile after a few months.. two stars as they are comfortable

Not waterproof and crack easy!
I used to swear by the quality of Salomon but these have really let me down. Had them less than a year and already my feet get drenched and the front of the boot has cracked.

Best boots in years
These boots are the best boots I have ever had. They need no breaking in, perfect fit, waterproof and I have been through many muddy puddles and downpours, tread very good, will be purchasing again.

Comfy but not waterproof
Bought these last January, by the 3rd wear they started to let in water. Returned them for a new pair, wore for the first time 2 weeks ago and let in water 1st wear. Will not buy Salomon again.

Ideal hiking boot!
I was skeptical of purchasing these, however I am so glad I did! Generally I'm a size 5.5, but purchased a 6 - fit perfectly and my foot is slightly on the wide side. They look good + are waterproof.

The best boots for hiking Fells
The perfect amount of flexibility and ankle protection. I've been hiking in them for 6 months and had no issues. My feet have never been so comfortable and my toes don't get squished on the decent.

You don't always get what you pay for!
Both I and my husband have had Salomon boots for years. These are tragic. Quality is shocking and have now returned twice due to splitting within weeks. Salomon has lost two loyal customers.

Disappointed after over 30 years endorsing this brand
Is it the clips or the laces? Trip hazard as the laces slacken off. The material in the toe crease has cracked open on both boots. The sole is light but feeling stones under foot. 3 months wear.

So comfortable but
Comfortable from the box and required no breaking in. However on 3 occasions now, despite being tied in a double bow, the laces have slipped off the top hook. This is a nuisance and a safety issue.

Not the best
Brand has lost its credibility. They are comfortable, not waterproof and tread wears down quickly. I expect more than 700 miles out of boots in this price range. £40 quid will get you the same spec!

Very light and comfortable
These boots needed no breaking in. They were comfortable from the very first wear. Wore them non stop for five weeks of walking. Very pleased.

I bought these last year, as a regular walker and dog walker, GoreTex is a necessity.
They did not last the year- the boots cracked at the sides of the toes where my foot bends, despite good care.
