Scarpa footwear is made in European sizes, which allows for a more accurate fit as the 'gaps' between sizes are smaller. Each European size is roughly 3/4 of a UK size.
As with all walking footwear, we advise moving up a size from your normal shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and for your feet to expand during a long walk. If you fall between sizes you should always go for the larger size.
We have trained footwear advisors in all of our stores - if you have trouble finding the right boot for you please pay us a visit and we'll be happy to help. You can also find out more about choosing, fitting and caring for walking footwear in our online Footwear Buying Guide.
I love these boots, these are my third pair. Comfort wise nothing comes close, but the grip is absolutely terrible. I’ve tried other brands but just keep coming back. With a better sole would be A1
I've worn these boots regularly over all sorts of terrain for approx 4 years without any problems! No slipping, no wet feet & no blisters. I will buy another pair when these need replacing.
Was very satisfied with them. Purchased them in October. Comfy from day 1. I have been waxing them after every walk so not sure what happens but left toes were wet after my last 2 walks in the rain.
For the first time I have bought expensive boots. I never thought that walking can become so pleasant experience. No breaking - shoes straight from the box very comfy, although i have wide feet.
Purchased a pair of these boots 18 months ago, after getting my feet wet wearing so called waterproof boots of a different brand. Never had wet feet since, clean & wax after every walk, look like new
Just bought a pair of these boots for my husband and they have come with different laces in each boots anyone else had this issue
Bough my 2nd pair earlier this year. The first last over 5 years. The sole of the 1st pair have totally worn through. Walked all across the Himalayas across a number of years. brilliant boots. Brill
Seen the low review score - had to comment ! Clean them, polish them regularly (ie alot) & these boots will not let you down I promise you !!! Best boot I've owned in over 2 decades with out a doubt.
Bought from go outdoors two years ago, very comfortable boots straight from the box but after approximately eighteen months both of the vibram soles split and let in water. No heavy use.
Was concerned about spending so much but they felt great as soon as i tried them on.
5 mile walk straight out of the box and they were so comy. Very wet walk, dry feet and goid grip.
Price check them.
Managed one walk before i noticed that a chunk (approx 1cm diameter, 70% of the way through leather) above the toes had been scraped off. May be unlucky, but this has never happened with any other sho
I have walked everyday in these, I garden in them as well. I have a second pair used only for rocky terrain but that really isn't necessary. They are the best I've had since the old Hawkins British.
Initially v happy. After 12mths rubber began cracking around heel. 18mths letting in water. Very disappointed £180 boots and Scarpa not interest in their boots and why they fell apart.
Had mine for 4 years and now need to replace them as the soles have split. I reckon I've walked over 1,000 miles in them so can't complain. About to buy another pair.
Bought these boots as an upgrade from my last comfy boots (Brasher)... And after one year I can honestly say its the best £150 I have spent on foot wear ever.... I wear everyday for work and love the.
I needed a good, strong, comfortable boot that I could wear everyday due to hyper mobile joints. These are brilliant, except you slip on everything you stand on so constantly grip with toes
Comfortable, good fit and easy to clean. But after 9 months both boots suffered from leather above toes collapsing inwards for no reason. Impossible to wear. Go Outdoors replaced them without delay.
The quality of materials is great and the fit for me is very good. After 1 year durability seems to be pretty good. However the grip offered by the sole is dangerously bad on everything except grass.
Looks great but badly let down by poor quality insole. Returned insole to Go Outdoors weeks ago. They have not yet returned it to Scarpa - poor service and disappointing response from staff. Response?
Have had mine for about 8 years, just noticed the tread on the heel falling apart, was walking through a few inches of water last week and still dry feet, about to buy another pair
