Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Disappointing product
Payed over £100 for gore tex Merrell product expecting robust and comfortable shoes. The problem is the sole build. Stones easily jab through causing pain and discomfort. Will never buy Merrell again.

Cool walking shoe
Very comfy and stylish. Quite a high instep which does provide good arch support, and nice and wide for front of foot. One prob was tongue dart cleat folds wrong way sometimes, but now sorted.

Been on two hikes...
Been on two hikes of about 14 miles each. Very muddy trail and wet. Somewhere I have read that they are not waterproof but my socks were bone dry when I finished my day, and I did step into potholes and mud (obviously not beyond the ankle). Very pleased, they are sturdy and a bit heavier than a standard pair of trail shoes but they do the job. I have wide feet and they don't feel tight towards the end of the day.

Great support for varied terrain hikes. Keeps the tootsies nice and dry.
After 6 months I am already looking for my next pair to buy. Really disappointing and typical of Merrell unfortunately. Sole grip coming loose losing waterproofing.
