Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.
love these shoes.they last me approx 6 months wearing them all day on concrete then out dog walking and because they stretch and I've got wide feet they fit like slippers. I've got a new ones ready for when I wear thro the current pair.the staff in exeter are very friendly and helpful
Great for hiking, even in the rain. Very comfortable from the start. Didn’t even have to break them in. Would definitely recommend!
I love the solid feel and comfort of Merrell shoes and these were no exception. The grip on the sole is ideal for town or hill walking and the thick sole on the heels helps my balance and posture. An all purpose shoe. Waterproof and breathable - what more could you ask!
What can i say..........there a really comfy shoe, i wear mine every day and im super happy with them. Only ever buy merrels on sale as i cant afford £120+ shoes. But for £50!!!!! SOLD!
Light weight, very comfortable shoe, not really suitable for winter use. They would soon take on water if muddy puddles were around.
Suitable for everyday wear or dry hikes.
Very comfortable shoe but NOT WATERPROOF. Was not advised of this when buying in store. Dissapointed!
Bought it gear for my husband he says they are very comfortable, we walked for miles in France no problems at all , the only down side the make your feet a little sweaty
Excellent fit and finish to these shoes making them look great casually as they are for walking. Very supportive for such a light shoe and very comfortable for all day wearing but I would suggest not for serious hiking. Great value for money.
I previously had a pair of Merrells but I wore them out with use , got these as a replacement, very comfy for cycling/hiking, lots of grip where it matters. They're not really waterproof as such, but are great all terrain shoes
Straight out of the box I was able to walk 11.5 miles with no discomfort. Having broad feet finding suitable walking shoes is a problem but these shoes fitted really well and I highly recommend them.
I have worn merrell for probably 20 years and normally the chameleons of some guise. Thought id give these a go, so far so good, comfy and warm with good grip.
I bought these and they are the best walking shoes I have had, well worth even double that price
I bought these to use as a semi-regular walking shoe during the Spring-Autumn period. Sizing is spot on for me and shoes are very comfortable. I've managed some long, strenuous walks without so much as a blister. Happy with them for the price and serve their purpose. Would consider buying these again when mine pack up.
As a lady with big feet it is always frustrating to have to skip the womens range and head straight for mens so I'm constantly on the look out for general everyday trainers that don't make my feet look even larger!
These are perfect - comfy, lightweight with grippy soles. I'd say the length is a touch on the small side but width is generous.
Hope they last as long as my last pair of merrells (three years and still hanging in there!)
A very comfortable shoe, but the sole has worn through at the heel after only 6 weeks - I walk about 6 miles a day.
Bought the shoes about 6 weeks ago and use them for every day casual shoe . Very comfortable and light great just doing light town and country walking. Not water proof but would not expect them to be but great breathable shoe for summer spring time.
had these for a week now and no problems at all, good grip, very comfortable and good fit, all better for getting them on offer.
a previous review said about a sizing issue, mines a UK 11 and i have no problems with them not fitting, I have pretty wide feet aswell and no dramas there either.
Be aware of the sizing of these shoes!
Tried the shoes on in store and they were fine but after using them I am finding them too small, my toes are pressing against the front and that is with me wearing thin socks. It's got to the stage I cannot wear them.
I am a standard UK size 9 but these shoes are at least a half size smaller than what they say they are. I have put them up against my other shoes and these Merrel's are noticeably smaller.
Other than the size problem (why I have given them 2 stars) the shoes are great. Ridgid sole with good grip, would be great for low level hiking.
What's the returns policy for shoes after they have been worn outdoors?!
I have been warn merrell shoes as my main casual walk around shoes for the last 8 years or so. In that time i have had 4 pairs of the chameleon wrap slams and always loved them. This time around i wanted to try out something different from merrell. I tried on the interceptors but they were narrower and didn't fit as well as the wrap slams i had got on so well with before. About to give up i saw these
Accentors on sale for only £50 and so decided to give them a try. They felt great straight away and better fitting than the interceptors for my slightly wider than normal feet. The vibram sole has really grippy deep lungs, the top is ventilated and the whole thing makes for a stylish package. Sure you could get better things like gore-tex if you spent more but on other websites this is advertised as having a waterproof outer layer. For light trails or casual around town use you can't go wrong. Besides if i need something for more serious trails where i might need to deal with boggy conditions I'll just wear my leather walking boots.
Brilliant pair of shoes, I bought mine about 15 months ago for a 10 expedition and despite some wear on the inside of the heel and a lace loop snapping (my fault for that happening) they are still holding up really well with continued daily use since buying them. I did end up with some blisters on the expedition but that was down to not breaking them in properly and a lot of road walking, but I haven't had any problem since, they are really comfy and are my go to shoes for pretty much everything and anything
