Nice light weight boots really good in wet weather and very comfortable I would recommend these to any one
Great pair of boots grandson loves them no he’s ready to start the great outdoor life
Boots are brilliant. My son loves them. Using the for a trip away with school. He said they are very comfy and the grip is fab! Well worth £16! Delivery was great. Highly recommended
These are ok boots. Only been on two walks with them. Not completely waterproof.
Very good quality, comfortable and not too heavy. Good value for money.
For the price they do a satisfactory job- can't speak to longevity after only two weeks of casual wear. One point i'd mention is that the tongue is a bit stiff at the sides, material and corner join is quite hard, this pushes against your upper ankle when worn inside the boot, so had to adjust them and lace a bit looser around top to get a comfortable fit- but that's not ideal.
Purchased these for a Xmas trip to Beamish museum and for the coming snow, great quality for the price, my daughter says there comfy and after a day walking around she had no complaints.
These boots are extremely comfortable and have a very supportive fit, however the 'bedding-in' process has thrown up a slight problem, namely the fit round the heel is a bit TOO 'grippy', resulting in some painful blisters. Close investigation has shown a lateral seam at the base of the heel with some quite rough stitches, which no doubt are responsible, hopefully this will wear in with use. Waterproofing seems to be effective so far.
I brought these for my some for his first camping trip. Was amazed at the quality and the knowledge from the staff he really liked the boot and said it was comfortable. My biggest downfall is when I told him they were water resistant so he decided to jump into the first stream we came across after the third go he then said his feet were wet but good effort.
freedom trail derwent 3, stay clear at all costs, sole detached halfway through walk up a hill and i was forced to walk back looking like a hippy
I got these boots for ny son to do the west highland way on the 3 day it rains all day and I got to Rowchoish bothy I notices my son had wet feet and I got in to Beinglas camping and I check his boots and I notices the glue come apart on then and the shop exchange me a hi-gear per I am going to see if them ok not not
Used these for the first time yesterday taking the dog for a walk. The left boot was rubbing my heal and caused a massive painfull blister. They also make your feet sweat heavily. Would definitely not recommend these boots. They are cheap and nasty!!
Got these for my for his first scout camp. He loves them. Says they are very comfortable. He's worn them every day since we got them.
Very sturdy and supports him when walking on uneven terrain.
Very good product good price and comfort was ok
Would recomend for someone that walks only occasionally
Bought these boots for my 5 year old son as we are going to the peak District and for the price I don't expect too much, I will give them a waterproof spray before we leave but he has worn them out and about and he says they are comfortable so so far so good.
Must have to say that the sales man was very helpful and gave me pointers of how to keep an eye on my son feet growth, also if we continue hiking what type of boot to go for in the future.
brought these for a charity walk up mount snowdon,..ok at first however soon became clear that they're not waterproof...after getting half way they were full of water, wen i took them off i had 4 toes bleeding(nothing do with size).the tongue on the boot had rubbed my ankle to the state ive got blisters,,,,,NOT A GOOD BUY
A friend of mine with the feet of a 12 year old bought these fine boots a mere 36 hours before embarking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge.
He thought wearing in a pair of boots before a 24 mile walk was for the weak.
These boots quickly got the nickname 'the cripplers'.
After the 1st peak we was extremely disappointed as they where failing to live up to this name and my friend was in no pain at all.
Then came the 2nd peak and the cracks soon began to appear. The next 6 hours caused him to be in none stop pain. After 10 hours of walking it was time for the grand unveiling. When he removed his sock his foot looked as if he had spent 7 days in the trenches an he had blisters in places I never thought possible.
So although he was in excruciating pain an will probably spend the next week off work due to not being able to walk, I can assure anyone who is with someone wearing these boots will have memories that will last a life time.
I bought these boots for my son. They were very comfortable and took little wearing in, but after a month one of the lace eyelets broke. Changed without question at Go Outdoors.
We bought these boots for my son, and they were comfy and waterproof and he liked them. However the leather surface scuffs very easily so they look shabby quickly. After occasional use over about six month I have noticed that the sole has detached completely from the upper.
I actually use my boots for down the farm and not only are they comfortable but they keep my feet warm and dry whilst I'm doing my jobs :). Each time I kill them (horse urine kills all kinds of shoes) I just go get another pair I wouldn't wear anything else now.
So much better than wellies
