Robust and reliable weather protection for high mountain terrain or any harsh conditions.
Developed for use in high alpine terrain, the Mammut Crater Jacket is made from lightweight, totally waterproof and windproof and very breathable 3-layer GORE-TEX® fabric.
It has a simple, no-frills design but still packs in useful features and functionality, without excess bulk or weight.
The helmet-compatible hood is vertically and horizontally adjustable, and coupled with the one-handed drawcord hem adjustment, you can seal yourself in completely from persistent harsh weather.
The two front pockets have bonded, watertight zippers, and are placed high so they won't be obscured by your rucksack hipbelt or climbing harness. There's also an inner mesh pocket with a zip, for safe keeping of small essentials.
