Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, making sure to keep the tape under the arms and around your shoulder blades.
WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
HIPS: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part.
INSIDE LEG: Measure from the top of your inner leg, along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.
Ratings & Reviews
Good base layer.
As expected from Montane. Good base layer. Only complaint is, I would have liked the sleeves to be a couple of centimetre longer or have thumb loops as I also wear as a casual top with a short sleeve compression t shirt underneath and the sleeves tend to ride up a bit. There again I am long limbed so this may not be a problem for most.
Very good value quality product
Great base layer for skiing but can be used as a general purpose outdoor top very comfortable material , zipped to allow ventilation. Recommended especially at the price.
Ideal for fast and light
The polartech fleece is very fine but still has a good thermal rating. Ideal as a base layer for running or any high energy sports and makes a good second layer on a cooler day with not much wind. All in all a really good garment that is typical Montane quality. This could easily be one of their best selling tops.
Good kit!
Bought the Allez Pull on as a warm winter running top and am very pleased with it. The zip neck allows for you to vent some heat if too warm whilst the grid material wicks effectively and kept me warm & dry. The fit is quite close which suited me fine as I didn't want too much material flapping around.I would be happy wearing this as a Mountaineering or Skiing base layer as well.
Montane Allez Micro Pull-on
Bought this as a base layer and very pleased with it. Very light, not at all bulky and warm - just what I wanted. A little disappointed to discover the thumb loops were missing but not a deal breaker - a great piece of kit on it's own or as a base layer.
Wore this product as a base layer for 4 consecutive hot days in the Lakes. Wicked moisture very well, dried quickly and did not smell too bad at the end of the trip. All I can say is it works for me.
