In a nutshell heavy rain about 50 minutes and your shoulders will be wet and top of your arms the HH on the jacket is only 15000. sorry folks this is a high street jacket only

Loving the feel and look, fits true to size. Unfortunately it is only showerproof and not waterproof. Material comes saturated in contact with prolonged rain. Expected more from this make.

Excellent quality rain jacket. Lots of povkets; always an essential in outdoor jackets. Good bright colours so you can be seen in the dark or on dull days.

Xlnt waterproof quality and size. Very good waterproof pockets, velcro cuff adjusters, hood and hood adjuster elastics. Bought for very competitive price at Go Outdoors !

Popped into GO in Preston and bought this jacket in a rush not expecting much. Went to Lakes, handled gales and lashing down with ease. Brilliant Jacket. Totally dry and warm. Brilliant.

Came with hand pocket not sewn up inside, and a large hole through to the inside of the shell.
No adjustment on the neck, and oversized neck aperture allows rain in at the neck.

This jacket is billed as completely waterproof - it's not. It will keep the rain out for an hour or two, but forget it if you are trying to keep dry all day. It's not that breathable either and got sweaty recently on a really cold upland day. For the money it's very disappointing.

I needed an "all weather " coat for work.
My work involves office meetings, car journeys, site visits , Factory visits, outdoor inspections .
So the coat needs to be warm, cool, lightweight , breathable and SMART.
My new coat fits the bill on every aspect

Looks good, fits well and seems to keep put the water well.
A bit annoyed that the price has just gone don another £25.

Had my first walk today in this jacket and I've been very impressed. It had driving snow in blizzard conditions thrown at it and its been faultless. It kept the wind out but still managed to breath well. The fit is very good and my gloves never pulled out of the sleeves once.

Use pretty much everyday brilliant jacket woild recommend highly

I bought this coat to replace my old Berghaus which had become"tired" after 25 years of use. The new coat has already kept out the rain and wind during several dog walks in typical winter weather in NW England. I'm sure it will perform at least as well as it's predecessor.

Arran Berghaus coat is excellent coat very warm and waterproof

I have had my eye on this coat for a while, It is fully waterproof. As well as good durable material.

The zips are strong and the pockets comfy for those cold hands.

After much research on different brands i decided to go for berghaus due to there quality and ethics on the environment and animal welfare. I was fully justified in my decision as this coat is excellent. I have walked in longshaw estate in snow and walked up mam tor in wind and rain and this coat has not let me down. Comfy Snug and waterproof. Plus as a bonus GO Outdoors price match was spot on and i got a great price. Would defiently recommend
