Really nice warm top. Can see why people with big forearms would find it tight though.
The reason for 3 stars is the zip. It is terrible. I've worn the top twice and the zip has broken...twice.
I've got the needle and thread out to create a stopper at the bottom of the zip so hopefully this will sort it.

The hoodie itself seems nice quality, warm and looks great. However, the sizing of the forearms is oddly tight. I'm 6ft, 72kg fairly skinny and so small fits me great - except for the forearms which are frustratingly tight.
So, be sure to try on! Had no problems with the zip though as others have mentioned - all looks ok

Worn it now for less than a month, at best 3 times.

Clearly not fit for purpose

Warm and hard wearing nice long neck zip for ventilation, only loses a star because the sleeve gaiters make it harder for those with proportionally large forearms (i.e rock climbers) to roll their sleeves up

Just got this, worn it a few times. Soft fleece inside. Very comfy to wear but perhaps a little warm for running.

Great hoodie at a good price

this hoody is soft, fits well, looks good, but most importantly is warm. can be worn on its own (as i did while trekking in the sri lankan highlands) or as mid layer (as i do hiking in around great manchester)

Zip broke off within three hours of wearing it.
After two days noticed some bobbling where it's rubbing on the band of my trousers. I wouldn't recommend, invest in something else instead.

Good looking hoody, fit is a little odd but settles once you've been in it a little while. Sizing is about right on my medium. Cant comment on zip, mine is fine but I've been careful.

This is a great top, nicely styled but, and a very big but, it pills badly (bobbles). Any advice, Go Outdoors?

If you think your anything over a large don’t even bother.
I’m a xxxl in all tops, I tried one on in store today and it was like trying to squeeze into a L. Glad I didn’t buy it on line as would have been a missive waste. Maybe that’s why they have a size guide for all brands except for OEX

Great top for the price, comfortable and very warm, plus the hood works well under a helmet. I'm not normally a mid layer person but walking with other people made this a great help in keeping warm. Becoming a big fan of OEX.

Soft on the skin as well as warm to the body!
And at half the price of its competitors a real bargain!
I also bought the same brand skins.
They all do what they said on the tin.

Lovely looking top. Good quality.

Love this hoody. Very warm and comfortable never really have the hood up but it looks great. Stretches well. I tend to tuck the thumb loops out the way as I don't use them. First bit of oex kit, definitely not the last.

This garment is excellent keeps warm each cold morning it's excellent value for money highly recommended the store I got it from was bang on with the chat they gave me when i purchased it

It was nice and warm but 2 of the zips came of in the first wash so now can't be worn.

Great hoody, basically does all you could ask for the price. Comfortable, warm, not great in the wind but thats what outer layers are for. All in all a good item

Some mixed reviews, I think the hoody is great value for money, really warm and as described suits technical pursuits as a sturdy mid layer with thumb holes that can be tucked in for more casual use, they also then act as a wrist gaiter and keep the wind out of your sleeves. Would definitely recommend chest zip pocket good for phone or compass

Reserved this item for store pickup. Drove to Blackburn to collect, tried it on & the zip pinged off as I pulled it over my head. The hoody seemed very warm but the issue with the zip was enough to put me off.
