I bought these in mid-autumn last year, as a pair of trousers for cold cragging and as a winter climbing layer. They were comfy, warm and ideal for purpose, for about 2 1/2 months. Then the zips failed, both sticking irretrievably closed with stuff inside, necessitating the use of a pair of scissors to C-section the pockets.. After that the only way was downhill. After winter, all the zips have frozen, and the pockets have become unstitched, and the kickguards are ragged and falling off. Next time I think I'll spend a bit more and hopefully get something a bit more reliable,

Bought two pairs as great fit but zips jammed on pockets on both. Returned and replaced. Now they seem to have changed the zip on the fly so the slightest pressure on the zip and down the fly comes / totally hopeless for an outdoor trouser. Wasn’t a problem previously. Avoid and go for a different brand,

Bought these 2 weeks ago and have been out twice in wet conditions in the mountains and they seem to be holding up well. Also very comfortable to be worn on a regular day out walking. Would highly recommend for the price

Great trousers and money well spent. Was going to buy cheaper ones but you do get what you pay for...comfortable, warm, waterproof (to a certain degree) and fit well.

Wore them 1st time on a 11 mile hike over Pennine Way and they were perfect. No discomfort at all and held up to the elements the entire day...a friend from Mountain Rescue even asked what they were as he liked them

I use the trousers on a regular basis, and I really like the fit and feel of them, they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. However, like a few other people, the trousers are let down by zips/seems coming apart, this ruins the trousers and they are now redundant. I am not sure I would buy another pair as I would want better quality of seems/zips. I really wish OEX would look in to this more seriously as they could compete more with other expensive brands.

Fantastic pair of outdoor trousers. They give you all the flexibility you could as for. Extremely comfortable, look great and feel great. So much so I have hardly taken them off since buying them.
Much cheaper than the Make I was originally after and a better fit.

Wore these on a Polish winter holiday. Great gear and keep you the perfect temperature.
They have great stretch and are really comfortable.
I do a fair bit of weight training and often find it hard to get climbing trousers to fit my thighs however these stretched well with plenty to spare.
Very impressed overall.

looked good product in store but never know till tested worn them for the first time on sunday up to snodon summit in some bad conditions brilliant warm and dry comfy be buying some more oex clothing

By far best walking trousers I’ve bought great fit comfortable to wear and warm . Price is great most trousers I’ve bought over £100, these at half that is a steal . 10/10

Would recommend this item. Unlike some comments, the zippers are great. The material is thin and light, but strengthened in the right places.

One of the most comfortable and best fitting walking trousers I have bought. Unfortunately the seam on the pocket zip came apart as this is glued and not stitched. Returned to store where staff implied this was a known fault. Would love to buy again but only if zip issue is resolved

Got these trousers as they fit well and are a good price.Unfortunatley after 2 months 2 of the zips failed holes started appearing in some of the seams. A great shame! Have now purchased Burghaus trousers for a little more money! OEX please please! try harder as I was a convert to the brand!

Excellent in all aspects, comfortable, good fit, warm, stretchy. Only let down is the pocket rip after the first wear. But for the actual purpose they are fantastic and a third of the price of trousers i would put in the same catagory

nice trousers, Sadly the pocket seam became unstuck after 4 walks. Ill be returning them reluctantly for something else.

I bought these for my husband as I have a pair in ladies version. What makes these particularly brilliant is the stretch and lightness of the fabric, slightly pleated knee and water resistant fabric on thigh and knee. This means they are supremely comfortable, great when scrambling uphill (where other trousers pull at the knee, these do not) and keep you dry in a shower at the most vulnerable spot in thighs and knees. We both love them. If you are in any doubt, buy them!

Bought for hiking and used them on my Hill and moorland leader training wore them with a baselayer bottom. The days we went out were cold and it had just started to snow and the bars trousers were fantastic never needed my waterproof bottoms at all the sleety weather never caused me any bother. These are a brilliant soft shell trouser and we'll worth the price I paid definitely recommend these. Will invest in more products from OEX.
