GORE-TEX® TechnologiesThe Montane Ajax Jacket is an uncompromising waterproof shell that's ideal for climbers, mountaineers and mountain walkers. It's made using tough GORE-TEX®, with heavier reinforced fabric in high abrasion areas. The close fit, helmet compatible hood and articulated arms make it a versatile and unrestrictive protection layer for fast-paced mountain sport.

CONSTRUCTION
Lightweight 40 Denier GORE-TEX with tough 70 Denier GORE-TEX in areas on the shoulders, upper arms, chest and waist
Durable Water Repellency (DWR) for effective water shedding
12 – 13 stitch count per inch on all seams (versus a typical industry average of 8) creating a tight, clean and strong seam
DESIGN
Articulated arms allow high reach movement, tailored specifically to prevent hem lift
Dropped back hem gives enhanced weather protection
HOOD
Fully adjustable climbing-helmet-compatible hood that fits comfortably with warm headwear and a helmet
Adjustable face aperture with internal cord exits
Rear hood volume compression for a close fit around head
Stiffened hood peak for stability, wired edge for adjustability
Tall collar offers storm protection to the face
Internal elastic loop and hook on rear allows hood to be rolled down and stowed away whilst not in use

Two map-sized A-line hand pockets with YKK matte AquaGuard® zips, unobstructed by rucksack hipbelt or climbing harness
Chest pocket (with YKK matte AquaGuard® zip) will fit GPS/phone without bounce during movement
Ergonomic lightweight zip pullers, easily used with gloves

Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, making sure to keep the tape under the arms and around your shoulder blades.
WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
HIPS: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part.
INSIDE LEG: Measure from the top of your inner leg, along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.

Bought this in the sale and more than happy with the fit. Neck gets completly covered and the hood fits perfectly.
Has kept out the Welsh rain so far on dog walks and is nice and light..
Only concern might be that the hood adjusters pull through into the inside of coat so am hoping the rain doesn't follow the cords through
Good comfortable, dry jacket. Looks good with thicker material in all the right places. I wouldn’t say no to pit-zips however. Make sure to size up, throws up very small.
