The demands of the trail are no match for these Merrell West Rim Mid Hiking Boots. In addition to the high-performance waterproof technology, a bellows tongue helps to keep sand, debris and puddle splashes from entering the shoe.
Cushioning EVA foam is used in the midsole to provide comfort while supportive shock-absorbing pads dampen impacts on rough terrain.

Very poor quality

Would have gave them ellellellzero stars if it was option
Merrell/GoreTex should not put their name to this boot, lasted two months before falling apart. Complete waste of money.

Terrible Boots
Purchased at full price from the Ravenside Retail Park, Kingsbury Rd, Erdington, Birmingham B24 9QB.
Fell apart after 6 months, wet feet and tearing of the sole. Very bad for the price.

Disappointing from Merrell
Boot lasted about 7months before it started leaking, Glue disappeared and sole started coming away from upper. Boot not fit for purpose!

Not waterproof
The boots are comfy and alright for walking in. However in anything other than a light shower your feet will get wet.

This is second pair I’ve had. First pair started leaking after 8mnths.Go outdoors said initially wasn’t their issue and it was Merrells. Merrel said the reverse. Replacement pair also leaked. Avoid
