The narrow bonded boxwall construction is designed for optimum insulation while keeping the jacket lightweight and free from unnecessary bulk, perfect for hikes in the crisp winter weather.

Rab great Jacket
I have had my jacket two years it has been fantastic with the Scottish weather had no problems with the rain it's seen a lot of that. Did get it washed by Rab great service too.

Poor quality - hopefully a one off
Hood pull broke after 3 wears. Hoping this was is a one off as its come away at the point where its stitched inside the hood. Will be returning today for a exchange / refund / other product.

Quality worse than in a Pondland!
After 1 season zip in my husbands coat broke. He realised when took it out for the next season. GO Outdoors has only 12 months warranty so they didn't want to know and Rab wanted to charge for repair

Mine is also not waterproof in the arms
I will be taking it back. Seems nice in other respects, but the first time I was caught in the rain my arms got wet. Other parts of the jacket including the hood were dry inside. Weird and a shame.

Warm and waterproof - as claimed
I've had this for two years now. Buying one for my dad too.
These are lovely, comfortable warm coats. V well made.
It's kept out as much rain as Scotland can throw at me

Love it
Super, don't understand the other review i was out in rain and stayed fully dry, I've washed it since and treated and it's like new. Mega warm perfect winter jacket, highly recommend

Not fully waterproof
After walking around Edinburgh in the rain I ended up feeling cold and damp. The arms were very wet inside the coat. I don’t understand tbh as my shoulders were dry. Took back for refund

Been wearing this jacket for a few weeks now and loved it. Wore it doing a Wainwright today and got caught in the rain. I was soaked, the back of the jacket let water straight though. Very sad
