Part of their light hiking range, Mammut's Mercury Mid III GTX® Hiking Boot provides great all-round protection in changeable weather conditions.
They have a durable and stable upper which is constructed from a blend of terracare® nubuck leather* and softshell fabrics, built around a waterproof and breathable GOTE-TEX® membrane.
360 Memo Foam in the lining and footbed moulds to the shape of your foot and helps keeps you comfortable, while the smooth-running Polyamide (PA) webbing laces ensure they are easy to put on and take off.
The board lasted vibram® Frog Grip outsole has been designed with hexagonal studs to ensure excellent grip, working alongside their patented Rolling Concept® sole to encourage a natural rolling movement and reduce fatigue.

Super comfortable but don't last

Expensive considering they don’t last
comfortable but they don’t last.
Throughout the year, boots have split in several places where they crease as you walk and the boot lace eyelet have come off. Not good considering the high price!

Build quality / longevity
Bought 7 months ago. First 6 months they where excellent very comfortable. Very waterproof. I use daily walking the dogs. But now shoe is separated from sole and heal worn down. Not built to last.

light weight comfort,
Light weight, keep your feet warm,goretx.
if you are 8.5 buy 9. no arch support,so does not dig in to the arch, which other shoes can , lead to blisters. depends on individual choice and foot shape.

Not great
Bought these to replace a pair of Salamon gore tex boots. Not as comfortable & now leak around the toe box leaving me with soggy socks after only 7 months of use. Wouldn't recommend.

Comfortable boots, would but again.
I bought these on the advice from Emma at the store in team valley, I have been wearing Merrell Moab shoes and these boots were just as if not more comfortable straight out the box. 30k in no problem.

I've had two pairs of these - they are super comfortable straight out the box. Unfortunately, both pairs fell apart within 9 months - both times the stitching around the toe breaks.
