Rab’s first ever mono-polymer waterproof jacket. It uses a polyester outer and membrane, which means that, in addition to being 100% recycled, it also has the future potential to be fully recycled at the end of its life.
Using a 2.5-layer Pertex® Revolve Fabric, accompanied by a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment, the Men’s ECO Waterproof Jacket will provide superb waterproof protection, offering an outstanding 20,000mm hydrostatic head. The jacket also delivers excellent moisture wicking properties and is breathable, making it not only weatherproof, but comfortable too.
Equipped with deep-venting YKK pit zips, as well as a YKK full zip opening, the jacket can be easily tweaked for ventilation. Complete with an adjustable hood, a fully adjustable drawcord hem and Velcro cuffs, you’re able to find the perfect fit.

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, making sure to keep the tape under the arms and around your shoulder blades.
WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
HIPS: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part.
INSIDE LEG: Measure from the top of your inner leg, along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.

Waste of money
Stylish, comfortable and fucttoinal ....until it rains - then pretty useless. Very disapppointing.
also leaky as a sieve
bought in April and only got to test it a few weeks ago..terrible.have tried again and the same result. used in persistent heavy rain 1st time then intermitent heavy rain 2nd time...leaked everywhere.
Works well under light rain but anything constant and heavy
performed when I needed it to in severe rain and river crossings, however when crossing under waterfalls it seemed to reach its peak precipitation barrier and I had some moisture get through.

After a very dry summer we finally had some persistent, though not especially heavy rain to test the Downpour.
The outer fabric wet-out immediately and I was soaked to the skin.

Unfortunately it leaked
Bought this coat a few months ago , used it yesterday in a light rain shower unfortunately it wet out across the shoulders! I thought at fisrt it was sweat but after a retest same again .
The name RAB says...
The name RAB says it all, lightweight fully waterproof, does the job very well.
I would give it more stars if it was waterproof, but it isn’t, so I won’t.
