Bought a pair of these five years ago and they were absolutely brilliant but since buying another pair in 2020 I had to return them because of water coming in from the sides and toe area after 9 months

As the title suggests, these are not fully waterproof. Not the best grip either. I'm a bit disappointed by these given the usual quality of the Salomon brand and price tag.

Take basin, part- fill with water below any obvious leak points i.e below tongue, top eyelet, below arch on side of shoe where you put your foot in. Immerse1-5 minutes. Put hand in shoe to see if leak

Bought these for my daily dog walks across mostly pavements but wanted the waterproof benefits.
Had them 2 weeks, first walk in the rain today, and tops of socks are soaking.
Very disappointed.

I found these very comfortable and nice and light. Please bear in mind you'll have to buy one size larger than normal. I'm usually a 10 in most brands 10½ in adidas but I need an 11 with these.

Just buying another pair as my last pair has lasted about 3 years biking walking & everything else great trainers never leaked sizing is small im about a size 10 but need a 11 highly recommended.

I agree with other reviews in that these are coming up small. Had Salomon shoes and boots for years. Size 8 in shoes and size 9 walking boots. These in 8 are far too tight 9's are perfect fit!! Odd.

These are a great pair of shoes. I do a lot of walking, had these for just over a year and they're as good as when I bought them. Only criticism would be size, I'm a 12 and even the 12.5 are snug.

3 rd pair of these trail shoes - so comfy and great grip - highly recommend

Small fitting and still waiting a refund

Really liked the look of this product and the description fits just what I wanted. Really happy with the quality, very comfortable and breathable as well as great grip for walking. Can easily be warn with jeans for a casual look. Is one of the more expensive shoe but meets expectation.
Make sure you measure up your foot as the size is smaller than your regular shoe size and I ended up returning twice. There is a size guide to help fit.

Love the proper laces 4th pair I’ve bought over 10 years. Salomon are the best

I was recommended these by a guy in the army and he has had them for ages. I only walk about 3 miles a day and they are pretty much worn out in 2 months 80 miles. An avid walker this would take a week

Too narrow fitting need a size larger than usual

Had to buy larger size so could get foot into shoe. Look clumsy especially with protruding rear sole. They are size 9.5 but look like size 11.

Hopefully they are as robust and comfortable as previous Solomon walking shoes.Not worn them yet as my shoes still have life in them,these are ready for when I need to change shoes.

Had three pairs of the Saloman predecessor.
Always had size 11 (I'm a 10½) - super shoes which fitted so unbelievably comfortably.
Ordered size 11 … too small!
Next size is 12.5! So bought Scarpa 10½
