Non slip & insulated on the side with the Berghaus logo. Excellent kit, really comfy, quite light, warm, good price. Walked across Portugal and Spain with this, did not regret purchase once!
Not non slip
Used once and am going to take back to store, the mat is not non slip as described and I found it too narrow. On the plus side it did keep the cold from the ground at bay in 4 degree weather

Save your money I am going to try and get my money back and purchase another make this is definitely not as described as non slip, I spent the whole night sliding off in the end stayed on the floor.
The mat is comfortable if you are on completely flat ground and don't move. It is very slippery and not worth the money at all.
