A lightweight, comfortable and robust tent, ideal for couples or single campers who need extra room for kit.
The Nyx 200 Tent from Vango is a superb option for couples and lone campers who are looking for a reliable tent that will keep them dry and comfy.
Waterproof flysheet and groundsheet materials stops moisture getting in, while mesh covered vents allow air to flow through the tent to prevent it from becoming stuffy and uncomfortable.
A lantern hanging point helps you to keep the tent well-lit for night time reading or sorting out kit for the next day’s expedition.
The tent pitches in as little as seven minutes and packs away into a handles carry bag (provided), making I a great option for on-the-go weekend camping.

Bought for motorcycle weekend camping. To echo previous reviews … i had both poles split on first pitch ( in a stiff breeze). Great bit of kit spoiled by cheap poles. I’ve taped them. All good.
Will be taking my second one back to store. First tent did well ,pitched outside through winter in three places, down to minus ten . Then the pole broke . Such a shame, light roomy tent..X 2 4 me
Front pole broke second time, repair tube applied just broke again further along !!! Be careful with splinters !!
Out 6 nights, back pole broke as well
3 nights rain, perfectly dry !
Back pole broke after 3rd time of using. Bad design in my opinion.
I used this tens when I bought it and in the first 20 of having it set up the back pole broke.
poles broke on the first night out when setting up the tent, ending up completely drenched form the rain
PRICE: sale @ £30
USE: backpacking (4 nights).
PRO: Held rain out; Stable in moderate wind.Thick groundsheet. Height
CON: Replaced half of pegs with alloy 'Y's. Tight fit poles. Pitches inner 1st
Don’t waste your money on this tent. The poles are terrible. It’s not normal to have to replace 4 sections after one use.I’m not a novice camper. The kicker is that the poles aren’t even covered u warr
Bought 2 of these. Front pole broke on first use of first tent (retailer replaced though); front pole for the other tent broke on 3rd use. And poles not covered at all under warranty.
Both back and front poles snapped whilst it was standing. The metal braces cut into the poles. Worst quality tent I’ve ever bought. Not happy at all.
DO NOT BUT THIS TENT.
I just had to return it after 3 uses the back pole snapped completely in half on its own I don't recommend to anyone!!
Overall functionality is good apart from the poles, the smaller of which bent during the 1st use & snapped on the 2nd. Dims? I’m 6’1 & feet were pressed against the fly sheet when lying down.
Amazing little tent - used it for camping the first time and even that by the coast, it was incredible! A well built little tent, roomy enough for one person - perhaps quite a tight squeeze for 2. A*
It was cheap, £50from Go Outdoors and it kept me dry and comfortable for two nights out on Dartmoor. But it didn’t rain so I don’t know how waterproof it is. Being quite small, when you move around inside or sit up, the inner tent touches the flysheet and absorbs the dew accumulated on the surface and makes you wet.
The smaller tent pole was delivered with a slight bend in the middle connector which I assumed was to help form the arched shape. On erecting the tent for the second time this connector bent completely and makes it difficult to stand up the lower end.
The tent pegs are very soft and bend if trying to put them into stony soil.
Three stars: it’s OK and would suit a single person going to a festival or similar. I wish I has bought a better built tent.
Used the tent on a 5 day hike last week. It was light, weather-proof and easy to erect.
However, on the 3rd erection, the rear pole snapped ripping the fabric and I had to make emergency repairs.
Spend more money you get what you pay for both poles are too tight and snap
I've had Vango tents before and know you can rely on them for a quality product right? Wrong! It fell to bits on its first outing. Rear pole snapped, and the pole sleeve ripped as a result. Very poor!
No way a 2 man tent - too small for 2 children !
Excellent tent for wild camping .i love mine
Bought this as a cheap small tent for festivals so I could travel with one kit bag. It’s quite compact though has a thick heavy polythene groundsheet. Front pole broke on second day away. Gaffer taped a splint. Replaced all poles with aluminium tube poles on return. It is cramped even for one person. Quite short and rather low. Barely larger than a bivvy bag inside. Can’t sit up in it. Inner is pitched first so you can’t use it flysheet-only in hot weather. Ugly bright apple green colour. A dreadful tent that lets down the Vango brand. AVOID!
