A great multi-purpose shoe, well suited to anyone who likes to go bouldering and scrambling.
The Mammut Redburn Low is a comfortable, multi-sport shoe for every day outdoor use - ideal for walking, biking or approach.Breathable mesh panels in the velours leather upper aid airflow and keep your feet comfortable, whilst the reinforced rubberised toe bumper protects against knocks and scrapes.
A lightweight EVA wedge in the midsole works with the integrated Mammut Rolling Concept design to give a natural anti-roll behaviour, providing added stability, comfort and a reduction in fatigue.
The Base Fit asymmetric lacing comes further down the foot to help transfer power to the soles and reduce slipping or rubbing, making them easier to adjust for the most comfortable fit.

Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Stomping the mean streets!
I bought these shoes specifically for walking the streets of New York. I will be there later this year. However, I have "walked them in" over the last few weeks and they are great. very comfy and a snug, tight fit. Quite a grippy sole which so far hasn't slipped or shown signs of breakage. I already own a pair Mammut boots so I know the quality of the footwear. Mammut is indeed a shoe i can trust and I will certainly buy again.
An excellant walking shoe with plenty of grip and superb feel on loose surfaces. They're comfy enough to wear for medium/long walks (25+ miles), and so light you barely know you're wearing them. The only slight niggle I have with them is that on hard terrain such as granite, the soles crew up quite badly but for the price I can live with that....
