Excellent walking poles
I purchased these poles to replace an inferior impulse purchase which had given me nothing but trouble. I had considered Leki poles as my wife has these and has no issues with them, however I decided to try something else and chose these as they have good reviews in the press. The poles feel lighter than the claimed weight but still feel very robust. The flip lock system is excellent and is simple to operate "on the fly". It gives a very firm grip at the joint which is very reassuring. The poles also have extension markings down to 1 metre which is very good for the shorter walker! The foam grips are very comfortable and I like how they extend down the shaft as well. The wrist straps are also very good being slightly padded. These poles also collapse down smaller than other poles I've tried which make them even better to stow on the back of the pack when not in use. All in all they are excellent poles which I highly recommend to anyone considering purchasing a decent set of poles which should give many years service.
