Reviewed by Peter - 6th Apr, 2018 Nice little compass Used for some introductions to map reading skills on an Explorers day walk, and they all made it home ok!
Reviewed by TLF - 5th Feb, 2018 Get what you pay for but it's fine Ok you really do get what you pay for but in all honesty this does a job, I wouldn't use it to navigate my way over the alps but it's fine for local hikes etc
Reviewed by S.harrison - 6th Nov, 2017 Which way is North? I wasn't expecting much from the compass but I did expect it to point North. Checked in store to see that it work and it did I packed it away and thought that'll do. However by the time I got to North Wales it could no longer distinguish north from the other 359°. In the future I will buy a Silva compass and if you need to find North I would recommend you do too.
Reviewed by st - 6th Oct, 2017 It's fine Bought this for a fell race as it was on the essential kit list. Thankfully didn't need to use it. Found the instructions on the back of the packet very hard to follow so would advise seeking alternative explanation.
Reviewed by Yogi - 21st Sep, 2017 mostly points north This is not the sort of compass you would use for micro-navigation or in serious hill walking. However it mostly points north and illustrates the limitations of a cheap compass admirably.
Reviewed by Adam C - 18th Sep, 2017 Cheap and does the trick Nothing much to say other than its a compass and works great! Good value for money
Reviewed by Regan - 14th Sep, 2017 Good Not a bad product apart from the string snapped really easily
Reviewed by Paul - 14th Jun, 2017 Exactly what I needed I have to say this compass is everything that I needed. It really helps in map reading and enables me to get accurate 6 figure grid references. If I could I would give it 10 stars.
