The Berghaus Kinder II Microfleece is a comfortable fleece top that you can wear as a layer of warmth under your waterproof jacket, or as an everyday light top on its own.This stylish fleece uses AT-Optic fabric to offer great thermal insulation, with a superb warmth-to-weight ratio and added pill resistance.
It has flat seams so there's no friction with your other layers, and it has a close fit so it won't restrict your movement when you're on the move.
The chest zip lets you ventilate and shed heat quickly when necessary, and the zippered chest pocket provides secure storage for your phone, MP3 player, GPS or compass.

Measuring tips:
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, making sure to keep the tape under the arms and around your shoulder blades.
WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
HIPS: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part.
INSIDE LEG: Measure from the top of your inner leg, along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.

Its a nice top and warm, however there arent any pockets at the side which is a bit annoying.

I bought 3 of these fantastic Berghaus fleeces, 1 for my wife and 2 for me. They are perfect for all types of activity including walking and golf. The sale price was just too good to ignore.
A good base layer
A good base layer to go under jacket or to wear on its own on cool summer evenings. Packs up nicely into a small space. Good value.
Excellent Quality
Excellent quality, I bought one six months ago, I wear it a couple of times a week and chuck it in the washing machine, comes out virtually dry and still looks like new

Nice fleece, great value
Really good product for the money, best price around for a branded product. Works well as a mid layer, however the wind goes straight through it! defiantly not a top layer, even when warm.
Poor stitching
Nice fleece but stitching around zip broke loose after 1 day. Much better value can be found on other brands.
Kinder 2 Fleeces
I purchased a LARGE size in this fleece but found the neck not only too tight but the zip kept slipping down on it's own....Travelled all the way to Lincoln to get an EXTRA LARGE 'cos that was the only place they had one in the Pine Grove colour. The zip on that one was the same and the jacket itself looked like a child had put it together....EXTREMELY poor quality from a Company that apparently charges the Earth for their goods.....stay away from anything Berghaus would be my advice.
Perfect fleece top for most scenarios
Really light and nice to touch fleece. Simple and effective features like the earphone hole from the breast pocket make it feel like a quality Berghaus product.
The "Pine Grove" green is much lighter than the photo here, which I would've preferred.
Warm, but faulty.
Ordered 2 of these. Nice and warm. Put some new coat hooks up. Went to hang one up. Found the hanging thing in the collar. It's barely attached. And on close inspection found the stiching along the back of the collar wasn't attached. This is the 2nd Berghaus thing I've got recently (the other being a waterproof jacket), but disappointing quality. The jacket had faulty stitching from new.
It looks like Berghaus Quality Control is going down. My advice - buy in store and check carefully. This one will be going back.
