Made for protection on wet mountain days, the Rab Downpour Alpine Jacket is made using Pertex Shield® 2.5-layer with Dry Touch®, with a hood that can be worn with a helmet or cinched down, and two zipped chest pockets positioned to be harness compatible.
It's lightweight with a 'regular' fit, and can easily be packed away during spells of better weather.
A fleece lined chin guard, and the internal storm flap provide comfort and protection from the elements.

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, making sure to keep the tape under the arms and around your shoulder blades.
WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
HIPS: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part.
INSIDE LEG: Measure from the top of your inner leg, along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.

Not Waterproof enough Rab!
Bought last year only worn once in light rain and it seemed ok. Put on for the second time yesterday in heavy rain and after only five minutes of walking water came through the arms.Very disappointed

Had this jacket a short time and used in heavy rain on the morning walk to work. It did really well but the real test will be getting out in the hills over winter. Got it in the sale at £99!
not so good RAB DOWN POUR ALPINE JACKET
leaked in very light showers after 10 mins bubbled up inside of lining , leaking on the taped seams , it's a shame as I like the jacket got a full refund . good customer service.
Bought this because it was a Rab coat and thus a mark of quality. However on the hills it would not repel the rain and the jacket became heavy and sodden. Poor show Rab
