If you like wet feet
Bought these boots 12 months and have not gone out on a wet day without getting wet feet, boots are comfortable and well made, unfortunately they do not keep the water out.

This is my first pair
had mine now for some time. definite put together well and will last some time. What I found the sole is very hard because of that there not a all day boot heal can feel very tender after a long day

Good summer alpine boot
Decent, wide-ish fit with plenty space. Not as lightweight as "trainer" title would suggest. Pretty firm sole which feels more suited to rough paths and graded ground, not long days pounding flat path

Great 3-season (not winter) boots
This is my 3rd pair (1st pair now retired at 1,500+km, although they did need resoled and 2nd pair currently taking the load). Mostly Scottish mountains (incl scrambling and bogs) Love ‘em.

Good boots but....
Very poor support from Salewa on crampon compatibility as they don't use the B grading system and don't seem to really have a clue about crampons. Other than that these boots are great and fit wide

Excellent Mountain Boots
These are incredibly well made and the fit (for me at least) is excellent.
They have reasonably stiff soles and are more suitable for mountain use than low level walking. You would you'd be fine for Scottish summer and winter walking and Alpine stuff but the are better options for trails.
In 30 years of mountain walking I have never had a boot fit so well. Salewa are a brand I was aware of but had never purchased their stuff before. I'll be buying more from them in the future. And for boots/trainers they will be the first brand I look at.

Straight out the box walked the cumbria way not one blister then used every weekend without any problems..no wet feet neither will buy again when needed
