I had high hopes for this sleeping bag, as a cold sleeper I need something that's going to keep me toasty on those cooler nights. Sadly, I did not find this to be any warmer than my cheap £30 sleeping bag that it was replacing. On a colder September night in Scotland, I had to sleep fully clothed and in my insulating jacket.
However, it is not all bad - The sleeping bag itself is very long and roomy so I didn't feel at all constricted. It also packs down very small and lightweight which makes it ideal for backpack camping. For late spring and summer use, I would definitely recommend.
Used while camping at Kielder and on Skye in August.
Very warm, slept in underwear with bag fully unzipped most nights.
Warmer than my Vango of a similar weight. Also plenty of room for a mummy bag - i'm a side sleeper and can often feel restricted in a mummy bag.
Bought this for a 2 week canoe trip in the Yukon and it was the only disappointing thing about the whole trip. Don't rate it as a 3 season bag, 2 season yes, lightweight yes. Night time temps between 0 & 7 degrees and had to wear my clothes too.
If you were cold in this sleeping bag then it is your issue. Used this all round europe with temps down to zero and was never cold. neither was my wife and she has the heating on if it drops below 17c
