Amazing festival chair

Purchased two of these for festivals, small enough to carry in a rucksack with waterproof, jumper and room for other bits. Ideal.

Faulty

After breaking my second one of these purely by sitting on it I cannot recommend it
The weight limit for these is 100kg I weigh less than 80 and I have had 2 break on me at the exact same point
Avoid.

Great product

Highly recommended. Very comfortable- I am 6ft 2 and makes all the difference cooking or sitting by fire after hikes or canoe tours. Was tight to assemble first time as many reviews highlight but mine is now more than a year old and is fine. Light and compact to store. Good quality and goes well with the matching table. I will be purchasing a second one on next visit to GO

Ultra lite chair, worth every penny

I have had this chair over a year now and thought i was ready to report my findings. This chair is expensive but in my mind worth every penny you pay for it. I have had friends chairs come and go over the last year, they were sometimes less then half price of this one.... Cheap till it breaks and your buying again and again. Im a motorbike tourer /camper so small gear is best. Small, light and strong even better. This ticks all the boxes. All i need to do now is to find same quality like this to replace the rest of my kit and ill be sorted.

OEX Ultra Lite Camping Chair

Bought this chair for it’s size and weight as it was to be used on a motorcycle tour in Europe.
All my expectations were met, it’s an excellent bit of kit and I would highly recommended it.

Highly recommended

Had this chair over 2 years and still going strong. Light and compact easily fits in throwover panniers . The base stops the legs sinking in soft ground . Very comfortable I prefer it to the bigger chairs . Low to the ground so great when your cooking and just a reach down for your drink

Comfortable and versatile

I bought two of these chairs as my husband and I like to camp and hike. These chairs are light enough to carry in a back pack and comfortable enough to enjoy your surroundings after a long day of walking. They are also perfect for sitting in the garden and stow easily for people with minimum storage. A fantastically versatile chair.

Lex ultra lite chair.

Really sturdy chair. Packs away really small. Ideal for packing away on my motorbike. Thinking of buying another one for my wife. ;)

Fair budget version of helinox chair one

As my review header suggests, this is a fair budget version of the 'helinox chair one' which is much lighter, better quality but nearly twice the price. It is an OK interpretation if your only an infrequent user and don't plan on backpacking with it, it's more car camping weight. Great as a chair to have in the car as it takes next to no space and comes in very handy in the right circumstances. I would say if you have never used the helinox one chair you will be impressed with this incarnation, if you have, may be not so much. Don't let this put you of buying as it has its place and will tick all the boxes for many users.

Folding chair

Not the cheapest but certainly the best,we have 4 used when camping strong and firm made out of alloy no plastic at all ,you won't buy better and built to last .

Love it!

The chair is lightweight and small in its pack - I found it a bit tricky to get the material over the frame the first time I used it but I left it up for about a week and now it goes together really easily. It's comfy and hasn't got a rigid metal bar across the seat so you don't get dead legs! I also like the mesh seat - means you don't get a waterlogged seat if you leave it out in the rain.

Superb buy one!

Over 50 years I have had many many camping chairs, non have come close to this one for: most important comfort, shoulders are supported and you can slouch, you can sit up and the chair moves forward a little with you making using a stove on the ground, doing boot laces etc etc dead comfortable.

It is extremely portable and lightweight easy to put up and take down (something I usually hate)

I use it all the time in the garden, camping, diy (I like to sit and do jobs lol) and even take it on my backpack mountain biking.

OEX camping chair

Compact and light, struggled to put the canvas base on but other then that a great chair.

Strong but I'm not!

I am sure this chair will last as it's really well made but you need to be a stronger person than me to put it together. Maybe I got 2 particularly awkward ones but it was laughable trying to get the cover on and I actually pulled a muscle in my side and my much stronger girlfriend had to put them together, even she struggled and she does boxing twice a week. Over priced at 50 pound each as well. However very well made, very comfortable, love the colour and if they loosen up a bit they will ideal as they take up very little space in my camper and fairly light weight as well.

GO Recommended Product

I thought I'd save my review until I'd had this chair over 6 months and had given it some hammer and I can say it's still going strong.

My friend has an inferior version of this and it has lasted a couple of months at best and I put it partly down to a full metal construction and the addition of the mat to stop the feet splaying out.

It's light, comfortable and has been probably one of the finest bits of camping kit I have and fits easily on the outside of my pack when wild camping for that extra bit of comfort sitting on the summit watching the sunset. 5 star all the way !

OEX ultralight camping chair

After 3/4 hour walking this chair was a god send. a little fiddly. But i will be returning mine because the zip on the bag fell to bits :(

OEX ultralight chair

Very clever, original design and surprisingly comfortable. A bit fiddly to assemble - more so to disassemble and pack into case, but there's nothing to match it for compactness and portability.

Oex ultra lite Camping chair

Very comfortable once up and goes back in the bag easily. Difficult to erect first time round but once the fabric has stretched a bit it's easy enough. It's the last corner pocket that causes the problem, I put the opposite leg on the ground and gingerly applied pressure on the last leg to get it into the pocket. Used about 6 times now, a great chair

Comfortable but fiddly

I bought this chair to go to a festival as i was camping for 4 days, The chair is very comfortable once constructed it is also very light to carry around. However putting the cover on is fiddly and you need strong fingers , it is by no means quick to put together.
