Bought from go outdoors Bootle to use in our eight man tent whilst camping in Wales this summer.the heat is immense coming off it whist on two bars. Really done the job.now heating our living room.

I bought this from the Penrith store last night on my way to Ullswater.
I went to turn it on as the temperature dropped and it wouldn't work.
It's really flimsy I discovered when I opened up the box and that and the fact it didn't even work is probably why it was so cheap.
I got a refund today but as this is the second product from Go Outdoors I've bought in the last seven days which has had to be returned.. it's pretty poor.
Dangerous
Had this since aug 17 used twice on camping trips and intially thought it was good as it heats up tent well and if moved it turns off.
Been using at home a handfull of times recently and it started sparking yesterday and just blew out! Luckily my Dad was in the room and quickly unplugged it!
We have stored it safely in its box when not in use and used it correctly as per instructions.
I'm hoping that I can get a swap as I would expect it to last a bit longer than 5 months having only been used a few times!
Quartz heater
Good heater for when you need your legs heated! Not ideal for tents or awnings as heat doesn't circulate! Safety feature is very good - turns off as soon as it moves position. Doesn't work so good on uneven ground.

Great Heater
Bought this heater ahead of a camping trip at Easter. Fantastic product, kept the chill out of the tent in the evening, and liked the safety feature - if you knock it over it turns off. ideal for sites with unmetered electricity hook up. Initially bought the Outwell heater that hangs from the roof. But soon replaced as this is a fraction of the price, with the same heat output and more efficinet heating at floor level.
Managed a small amount of heat for 1 night and that was it! A complete waste of money and time, buy cheap, buy twice and I certainly won’t buy this again.
