A hugely popular mountain boot ideal for winter mountaineering and ice climbing.

Designed for use on high mountain terrain and at high altitudes when warmth and grip are imperitive, the La Sportiva Nepal Extreme are insulating technical boots for the harshest alpine conditions in the world.

Great for use on high inclines and steep mountainous areas, the Nepal Extreme benefit from an innovative triple laminate lining known as Synergy which provides unrestricted comfort.

Insulated from an Ibi-Thermo footbed, the Nepal Extreme are warm from the toe to the ankle, whilst the 3mm water reopellend Idro-Perwanger leather provides exceptiponal coverage from water, ice and snow.

For ice climbs and technical guide routes, they are compatible with step-in crampons, whilst the HP3 Midsole ensures your comfort even against the toe box is never compromised.

At just over 1950g per pair, the Nepal Extreme are rigid and technical enough to tackle the most challenging alpine peaks.

    Men's Footwear Size Guide

    Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

    Great winter boots

Finally got to use these after buying a pair last summer. Just completed 10 days in the Cairngorms and Highlands with no complaints whatsoever. Kept my feet warm throughout (first time a pair of boots have managed this as I often get cold toes) nice and stable whatever the terrain and comfortable straight out of the box. Hopefully get to try them on some more technical ground later this year.

Solid boot - fit like a glove

Great service from John in the Liverpool store. Without asking he searched for a price match and with his managers approval offered me a great discount. I wasn't going to buy on the day but the price could not be beaten anywhere else.

Boots fit really well with a good pair of insulated walking socks. Laces and quick and secure. They do advertise these as all round boots but definitely not for leisure walking in the fells. I have only tried them around the house and local walks as I am breaking them in for Mont Blanc in a few weeks. Really pleased so far. Not too heavy and no blisters or rubbing. Will let you know how they fair after a weeks climbing in the alps

    Great Boot, Excellent Service.

A fantastic Bomb proof Mountaineering boot. I would advise in taking time in breaking them in before venturing out in them. I have to say the price I paid and the service I received from an assistant called Bob in the Warrington store was really top notch. Bob obviously knows his stuff, he never once rushed me and answered all my questions expertly. Thanks Bob, your a star!
