Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.
Go Outdoors were great as these were my 3rd pair of boots tried by taking them home to try on, thank you!
i have wider feet, and these accommodate that. Really comfy, feel solid, really light.
Bought these boots about 3 weeks ago, they are not living up to reviews. Very tight, have got bad blisters even when wearing a good pair of hiking socks rub on ankles will not buy these ever again.
Extremely comfortable, extremely waterproof. Lasting very well. Quite upset that I have to replace them...the reason is that they are absolutely lethal on wet stone, roots or even a wet pavement! They grip really well in mud and grass, but step on any wet stone or root and they are lethal. I went on wet decking and was actually skating around, then i went on there in my slippers and had a great grip!. Very disappointing as they are otherwise great
Bought these on line, but tried them on in the Blackburn shop the shop assistant couldn't do enough. Showed me a different way of lacing, even though I'd already bought them ! The boots themselves are the most comfortable boots I've ever bought. A really soft leather inner and outer leather. He described them as a lowland boot, I'd go walking in the lakes and the dales, but comfort is king to me. I've been on a couple of walks so far and they have stood up well, time will tell as to how they stand up in the future, but so far so good.
These boots feel like a pair of trainers .Great to see a British company with such a quality product .
Well they after wearing these boots, it's pretty obvious why they call these boots 'Supalite', for such a sturdy feeling and looking boot, at 1122g per pair (according to Berghaus) they feel like a pair of trainers!
The leather they're made out of is absolutely gorgeous, especially the cream stuff on the inside, with super soft leather and what feels like a cross between alcantara and leather, not sure what exactly but it's very nice. The outside leather is suitably soft to provide flexibility, but at the same time feels very durable.
You can tell the comfort was done by Brashers, the fit was perfect for my size, both width and length - enough room for my feet but secure enough that they didn't feel at all loose. Lacing system is also very good and is tight in all the right places without being constricting.
The Vibram sole is also very good, grip is pretty decent in the dry and takes enough shock out of your step, but isn't so thick that your feet feel disconnected, they're not too bad for driving in either which is nice for a boot.
My only real complaint is that my feet did get kinda hot on one recent walk (though it was an exceptionally hot day), and it may have also been my choice of socks rather than the boots themselves, but it's something, not enough that it should put you off this boot however.
The pricing is reasonable, at £150 retail (I got the discount card price), they are fairly expensive, but you do get what you pay for; if you're thinking of getting this boot, I implore you to take the plunge and buy them!
Brought these to replace my last pair of brasher supalites as Berghaus brought brasher hence Berghaus supalites and very disappointed - not same quality - very uncomfortable tops and narrow fitting
