Bought these trousers about 2 years ago. Worn less than 10 times. Zip breaks, I'm told that's acceptable by their customer service. Poor service poor quality. The last Berghaus clothing IL buy!!!

I still have the same pair of these trousers and after 7+ yrs together I still think they are the business.

I bought these through a friend's recommendation.
Lightweight with full zips so that they can easily be taken off or put on during a walk - and they breath.
I'll leave more feedback in a year's time.

Can't fault these waterproof trousers, my second pair, excellent value for money too.

bought these because my partner has some and rates them highly.(it was between the berghaus or the high gear). had to go out walking the dog the day after purchase. poured down for the 2.5hrs i was out. stayed perfectly dry, "does what it says on the tin". very pleased with them except for one thing, I would have liked a pocket. Still, good value.4 1/2 stars due to lack of pocket

Really great pair of waterproof trousers would highly recommend

I'm short and fat, 5ft 3 and a size 22 so have a real issue finding good gear. These trews fit over the tummy and hips comfortably, yes they are long but could be shortened with some skill or just left over big boots. The ability to zip up or down the side of the leg with a popper edge storm gutter makes them airy when the going gets warm.
First wear was wild camping up by Llyn Cau under Cadair on New Years Eve. We had a lot of weather, rain, sleet, hail, snow, thunder, lightning and strong winds and these trews kept me dry and a little warmer than otherwise. Now to sort the base layer...

Had a couple of pairs of these now and they are the most waterproof ones I have had. I sit in bogs identifying plant species all day and they have not yet let me down when other more expensive overtrousers have. The only negative I would have to say about them is the zip on the legs do not like to stay closed which can be rather annoying at times.

Love these for gardening. THeyre easy to get on and off with full two way zips and poppers. Great to wash and reproof with no bother. Hard wearing, I use a new pair every winter and I'm a full time gardener - In Devon!

Tough and durable but not completely waterproof in torrential rain. Probably good in normal wet conditions.

Havn't used theys yet but all the reviews give me the confidence they will keep me dry with the knowledge I can open the sides to let the air in and keep me cooler when walking in the mountain's, lightweight and packs down small in my rucksack when out on a wild camp, highly recommend, Thank you go outdoors, Bootle.

Had 2 pairs of these over 10 years, replaced the first pair after a few years when they started to fail a little. With the second I've learnt and taken better care. Now 6 years on with periodic reproofing they're as good as ever, I probably never needed to replace the first pair.

Very pleased, very good quality and easy to get on and off.

Seem to perform brilliantly, keeping me dry from rain and sweat. I'm a tree surgeon, wearing these over chainsaw PPE, and every other pair of over trousers I've tried, either let the rain in or don't effectively let the sweat out. But these just seem to work. Full length zips really help with the venting particularly during stop-start showers.

I bought these as an additional waterproof layer for motorcycling. Having just used them for nearly 2,000 miles up round Scotland over the last week, I have to say they are perfect for this purpose. The 7/8 zips up the side of each leg make them very easy to put on (even when it's chucking it down) and, also, avoid getting boots stuck in them when taking them off. They proved 100% waterproof in some very heavy rain. Sizing was spot on, as long as you order the size the same as your main clothing, so if you are wearing a large ,motorcycling suit, just order Large in these as well, they'll fit neatly over the top, and not over large to cause billowing at speed.

Excellent product...tested very recently and performed admirably.

I am out regularly on the hills and these trousers stood up against rain,wind and snow.The rain beads off wonderfully thanks to the dwr coating.I have several of these type of products and they are easy to rewaterproof using nikwax or the like. The 3/4 vents make it easy to cool down and to slip on over gaters and hiking boots,the zips are easily fastened with pop-in clips.A great all round product at a greater price.Would highly recommend.

These were amazing I tried them on first day when it was raining and went walking in torrential rain and I was completely warm and dry these are worth the money.

I have has a pair of these trousers for 2+ years and I still think they are the business. Waterproof and windproof in spades.
In changeable weather if you find the rain has stopped and the sun is out then either undo the zips to vent and if that is too hot then fully undo them and tuck the legs in your waist band. An unexpected bonus is that on very cold days they are nicely insulating as well
