Lightweight and straightforward
As a first time user of roof rails and a roof bag/box I was really pleased with this purchase.
Bought to give the kids more space in the back of the car when going on holiday. They are lightweight and straightforward to fit. We fitted them as a two-person job the first time and took our time about getting them correctly positioned and assembled. You have to cut some plastic strips to fit the runner underneath once you get them in the correct position for your car (these don't provide a complete seal and we did find a little water in them once we took them off after 2 weeks).
I'm confident that putting them on again won't take long at all now they're assembled and aligned to the car.
Best features are that they lock and that the allen key for tightening them locks into one of the 'feet' of the rails so you always have it and it is kept safe.
Overall I am very happy.
Bar end caps don’t fit. Clamp locks stick and key won’t go in. Don’t recommend
