Osprey's lightest travel backpack that conforms to maximum EU carry-on dimensions, tailored to better fit the female form.
Osprey's women's-specific Fairview packs are the perfect travelling companion, with the benefits of a travel backpack and the ease and versatility of a suitcase (they're equipped with the same fantastic features as the Farpoint packs but with a female specific fit).
Built for where wheels won't go, the Fairview 40 uses a zip-away spacer mesh ventilated backpanel, and can be carried like a backpack but packed like a suitcase. The strong and durable backsystem has an ergonomically shaped hipbelt, harness, yoke and backpanel, so you can carry your gear comfortably when travelling between hotels, the airport or beyond.
Cushioned carry handles on the top and the sides and the removable shoulder strap allow you to easily grab the travel pack off airport baggage carousels. Your gear is readily to hand, with a large zippered opening that allows access to the main compartment, featuring lockable zips for increased security. Inner compression straps allow you to fully maximise the capacity whilst securing your belongings. There's also as top stash pocket for electronics and sunglasses, dual mesh front pockets for water bottles and a padded internal laptop sleeve.

Needed a well designed back pack for holidays. Decided to go without hold luggage for a week long trip to Spain. Packed everything I needed for the trip. It is well designed, a perfect size, managed 8 kilos total weight. It was comfortable to wear and very neat when the panel over the straps is zipped up. Very pleased with it.

Great short-trip bag
I'd been looking for a maximum cabin allowance day/hiking pack for a while, specifically with front loading (as you would pack a suitcase). There aren't many on the market and those that exist are fairly pricey. I happened across this bag in-store and was instantly impressed with it. It's well made and sturdy, the straps are comfortable for walking around - I have only taken it for a short city trip thus far but will take it hiking and trust that it'll be good for a few days day-walking. I like that it doesn't have too many pockets on the outside, one on the front is perfect for my water bottle (with the strap fed through my water bottle loop so it can't fall off). There are minimal inside compartments, enough that it's easy to find things when you need them. I took this as hand luggage on my last flight but the ability to stow away the strappings means that this bag can also be checked in on aircraft with no worries. I was hesitant on spending this kind of money on what I'll essentially use as a daypack but I'm glad I did. I'm now going to invest in the larger version as my main pack :)
