Shockingly poor product, applied to high end fixed gazebo for extra waterproofing, might as have well not bothered, turned a perfectly good water resistant canopy into a sieve!

Covers more than enough. Used it on tent three times Hiking gear And few other things. Works well. Spray gun is poor though

Bought this 2l bottle and just about had enough to treat a large 12 berth tent. Took couple hours but dried very quickly. Spray application was good,and was quite easy to treat. Would use again.

This is an excellent product and very easy to use.

I purchased two 2.5 litre bottles of this product to try and revive my 8-birth tent which tried to drown us during our camping holiday last summer.

The problem I encountered was with the spray heads which were provided; for starters it was a nightmare trying to initially pump the liquid through the pipe, it took a lot of pumping to get it there. I found holding the nozzle lower than the bottle helped greatly, maybe something the manufacturer could note on the bottle to save some time.
Then came the next issue, I ended up with quite a lot of the nikwax on my hand. Plenty was spraying out but there was also a very heavy drip/flow as I proceeded, I tried adjusting the nozzle but nothing resolved this issue on either of the bottles purchased.
The nikwax itself is absolutely fine, not only did it waterproof my tent but it also waterproofed my patio where it rolled off (and my hand) so cannot fault that in the slightest. IF it wasn't for the nozzles provided, I would have given this product the full five stars.

Unfortunately, after our first evening of camping this summer, a particularly bad bit of early morning weather finished off the waterproofed tent so I had to return to GoOutdoors for a nice new one.

I have recently purchased a second hand tent off my neighbour, when we first used it there was a little bit of leakage but after using this product just once, it has worked wonders! No more raining on the inside of the tent!

This product was easy to apply and took less time then normal.

Bought this product to waterproof a pop up gazebo which started to leak after heavy rain and this has done the job :). Easy to apply and great value for money!

Good product, apply to wet tent or with wet cloth for better results, goes further with same effect. Minus a star as my seams still leaked despite me lathering them with this. Reverted to Seamgrip. But overall great for tent, my coat, rucksack, even did my brolly. Gives them a new lease of life.

Used this to re-proof my Vango Icarus 500. It hasn't made the slightest bit of difference - the slightest bit of rain and we still end with puddles inside.

bought this at the reduced price ready to re seal my tents later in the year, time will tell if it works but I hope so....

followed all instructions to the letter and the first sign of rain the canvas leaked as if not treated sprayed with fabsil while away to keep dry and worked

used it on an old rucksack that leaked rather badly on its last outing, after following the directions its been given a new lease of life, after applying the proofer it no longer acts like a sponge, also got used on a 20 quid festival tent that is now water proof for the first time since purchasing it a big bonus for the kids garden play:)
